It’s super loose, so I’ll try that? It’s too $$$ to buy a new one just to change up the design. Just my opinion. Just I’m trying a lot of new grips lately. Also hate that you can’t prop up the loopy case.

Now, I’ve stuck with the same case for over two years because I love the functionality of the Loopy Case. I like that I can carry my phone with one finger while holding other things, and can take off the case easily if I need to. I probably wouldn’t recommend it if you routinely keep your phone in a pocket as it does add a little bulk and the loop is rubber, so it would stick a little going into/out of a pocket.
I would never buy another phone unless loopy made a case for it. Loopy is the best case I've ever had, so comfortable to hold, no stress on your fingers, flip it around like a ring. It's worth its money, and amazing warranty.
I’ve had both and I sometimes switch it up between the two. However, I always end up going back to the Loopy case. I like the ease of slipping it in my back pocket. Popsocket sometimes gets caught on back pocket. The ease of immediately looping it with a finger when my hands are full and knowing it won’t slip out of my hands like the Popsocket has before. With Loopy case, I can hang my phone on a hook on the back of the restroom stall door away from the toilet. While the Loopy does not provide the appropriate stand angle as the Popsocket does, the aforementioned points outweighs having a stand. Also the Loopy case is a quality case that protects your phone from drops.
Got my loopy case only a few hours ago and i love it. I do own a popsocket and i rarely use it because it doesnt stick to the case (silicone) that i prefer to use. With the loopycase i feel theres more control of not dropping my phone than with the use of the popsocket. Curious to see how the loopycase actually holds up and how well it will proctect my phone. Surely the pricetag isnt cheap but loopycase offers a 30 day trial with full refund and a lifetime guarantee on its products.
I've only ever used a popsocket. I love that it can be used as a stand, and you can get a holder for your car which is great! But I don't like that it adds extra bulk to the phone so this loopy case might be something I need to look into!
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the Loopy Case as well. It feels a little bigger than some of my other cases, but love the convenience of it vs. PopSocket.
I have been a loopy case customer for as long as I have had a phone and will not go without one. I am always carrying more than just my phone and love how easy it makes to carry the phone.
I've used both, and I agree, Loopy case is better. I got mine way back when they were doing a kickstarter and have used it almost daily since... I've broken a few of the loops but you can replace them. I just got a new phone though and I'm so bummed that the cases are now $39 plus shipping. I definitely didn't pay that on kickstarter. I'm missing my loopy case desperately though!
I have been using Loopy cases since they came out. Have owned 5+ over the life of my phone/upgrades. As a mother of 4 kids, aged 5 & under...this was a GAME CHANGER for me because I have to constantly be holding one of my kids, keys, coffee, and a thousand other things and rarely drop my phone, if at all. I like that I can even use a carabiner attached to the loopy to put it on the outside of my diaper bag for quick access, etc if needed. You can't do that with a pop socket. Single finger can hold the phone, whereas you can't with a pop socket.
I am a loopy lover for life! Before i got my first loopy i had a popsocket and sadly like she said you have to pull it out and mine actually broke off which was annoying. After dropping it so many times with my popsocket i bought a Loopy and I will never go back. I have 4 Loopy phone cases now and it has seriously saved my life. I love the multi grasp of the loopy helps me carry my keys wallet and phone in 1 hand with no problems!
I have been using Loopy case since iPhone 7 and I love it...as mentioned in the video the only downfall is that it’s not a very good kickstand and also now that I upgraded to the XS max you can not use wireless charging while in the case..both of these are not dealbreakers to me in comparison to the functionality it provides and it really has limited dropping my phone because I alway have my finger in the loop upon taking it out of my pocket or picking up from anywhere.

Loopy hands down! Tried loving the pop socket but I didn’t have the maneuverability with it and after awhile the pop socket isn’t comfortable and you can’t carry your phone and other items as easily! I’ve had 3 loopys and waiting on my 4 th! I treat myself to one for my birthday!

There are also cheap $8.00 rotation sockets which are like key rings made for your finger which makes holding your phone even easier, esp when it comes to taking selfies. These are added onto a phone or phone case just like the popsocket though.
I have never had a PopSocket. I jumped on the Loopy case pretty close to their start and before the PopSockets got to be really popular. But i Have loved my Loopy. When I upgrade to the new iPhone in the next few weeks it will be my 3rd phone with a Loopy. I love it because it's so easy to juggle my phone and other things at the same time. I think I would really miss being able to "wear" my phone if I got a pop socket. The selection of cases though isn't very big, but they have been adding more. But I do drop my phone a lot less. I don't drop it when I am using it, it usually drop it when I am trying to carry everything. PopSocket doesn't seem to help with that problem.

No bulk of the Pop Socket (though my wife uses the socket and I also like it) and to me it helps make a more natural bond in the phone. Anywho, of the 2 you showed id do the Pop Socket but my current favorite is the Ninja Loop

Loopy case. Its so much easier to hold the phone and carry it with other things. The pop socket was useless to me. I did more playing with it than actually using it. I like the case of the loopy case too. It doesn't make the phone big and bulky

Or you could get spigen’s “style ring” which is a little ring that sticks to the back of your phone (sticks REALLY well, like you’re not prying that thing off) and it turns around 360 degrees around, it can also be used as a kickstand and it will give you a less chance of your phone falling!
I just got a loopy case! So far I am enjoying the feel of it better over my otterbox pop socket case. Downfalls, I don’t think I can use the wireless charger with the loopy case. However, I was irritated that I always needed to remove the pop socket on my otterbox for the wireless charger. I do think it will come in handy to be able to quickly flip the phone over to the back of my hand with the loopy case. Flipping it back doesn’t seem to be as quick and easy.
I actually made my own loopy case cause they took too damn long to come out with one for the galaxy s22. With traditional loopy cases in the past, I've had issues with the loops not lasting very long (2-3 months ymmv), and bigger holes is the key! The loopy loop has never slipped or torn in my homemade case, going on 4 months now.
Popsockets can be used on almost any case, especially cases specialized in drop protection. However, it doesn't stick to silicone and other materials. In my opinion, I'd rather have a popsocket on the case I WANT rather than a case I have to use to have a loopy.
The only thing stopping me from getting a loopy case is that my current case has storage for my cards, so I don't need to carry around a purse all the time. Is there a loopy case that has card storage in it? Also is the loopy case that durable?
I use a pop socket that's been on the same case for 2 years (love it) and I "pop" it all the time, no problems with it staying on. My problem with it is, I have a sore spot where it rests on my finger. I just ordered a Loopy case, pretty sure I'm going to love it even more!
i fckn love my loopy cases! i bought another one within a month of use because i liked it so much. it's so easy to pick up and know it's secure. i have a regular pixel 2 and propping it up works great. probably because it's not a 2 xl with the added weight. and it's easy to slide into a pocket
Laura Donkus I think it depends on how it's placed on the charger and even the charger itself. I have to watch how I place mine since it sometimes acts like it won't start charging. Once I readjust, it works. But... Maybe some aren't working.
To be clear we are not comparing two cases here. We are comparing a loopy case(best ever) and a stick on attachment that you need a case for(only sticks to some surfaces) Loopy wins by a country mile for quality. Comfort and ease of use

I have a loopy case and love it. I’m a bit clutzy, and it has helped big time. My favorite thing is being able to have the hand holding my phone free to carry other things. I also like that I haven’t dropped my phone on my face while watching videos in bed at night since I got the loopy case.
I have never tried the Loopy case - so I can’t comment there. However, I have had the Popsocket on my phone for awhile now. I have an IPhone 7 (not the plus) - so my phone is not large anyways... but I can see how it can certainly help grip larger phones. It still helps me hold my phone securely. I watch a lot of videos on my phone / so the stand was a big feature I love! I also like how you can just flatten it - stick it in your purse and your phone is slim again and nothing is catching on anything. I have friends that don’t like the Popsockets because they said it unstuck. I think it’s because they got knockoff junk. Mine has never lifted - even a tiny bit. I ordered mine directly from Popsocket. I have it on my Kate Spade case I love. Only downfall (if you would call it one) is the fidgeting with it. 😁
I just use Gorilla Glue to stick on a Popsocket. I don't change out my cases unless I get a new phone, so my case that I stick my phone in is my case for the entire time I have that phone.
I prefer LoveHandle to either of those personally. The product lays flat and even with large hands you can get 3 fingers in the elastic loop for a more secure hold on your phone. I found it really convenient for holding your phone up high, over water or a ledge for an optimal photo while on vacation. It helps with selfies if their your thing also. Good review of those two products though.
i don’t exactly have a loopy case but I have a phone case that comes with a rubber loop that i can slide out or slide back into the case. i prefer this to the popsocket as the latter is much bulkier and i had troubles fitting my wallet into my pocket after my phone as the popsocket was blocking it. the loopy case that i have does not prop my phone up but i don’t need my phone to be propped as i normally watch videos on my ipad. overall, the loopy case won for me too :D
Good comparison Stephanie. You asked what we thought or what we use. I use the KardShark cell phone wallet. It has a velcro flap for holding phone, selfies and of course storing cash and cards.
Loopy is much better! I like the price point of the popsocket but loopy is just more convenient and it looks better. The popsocket also got caught on things more - my purse pockets, my jeans pocket, etc. Not a problem with the loopy.
I love popsockets personally I think the little design on it helps to personalize your phone case and I like that you can prop your phone up and you can pop it if you want too lol I never heard of a loopy case before
I got a loopy case 4 yrs ago as a gift when I was coaching volleyball and haven't switched back since! Actually I don't think I could switch at this point I would probably drop my phone all. the. time.
I bought the I-Blason case for my S8. It has the finger loop that totally disappears into the case when not in use. It does lets me prop up my phone as well. It was $17.
I use both, but if I could only choose one it would be Loopy. Loopy is more slim, easier to put in pocket, never hurts the fingers and easier to carry if hands are full. Popsocket is less expensive and therefore easier to buy new designs and I like that it props up my phone for kiddo to watch.
Long-time loopy case user here. I wouldn’t use anything else. Def makes it easy to hold the phone passively and keeps hands free for more important things. A LIFE-SAVER when holding my phone while nursing my baby. I’ve had issues after years of use with the loop wearing down and starting to break, but the company sends out a new one free of charge right away.

I loved the pop socket until my 21 month old decided he liked it too and would try to grab my phone to play with the pop socket and eventually was successful and got it off replaced it same thing happened. If you are that parent who finds their hands full 9 out of 10 times be it hauling grocery bags from the trunk of your car, holding kids hands to cross the street, hauling things with one arm while trying to key in 🔑 your front door with the other etc..etc.. JUST loop in a finger or two then enjoy all the freedom of both hands as if your phone is not there.. PLUS! no more dropping your phone on your face?!😫 (because you’re laying on your bed holding your phone over your face) it’s funny but it happened to me more than once!😅 -no more of that! I don’t find it pricey considering you get a whole new Case, unlike the other product it’s a sticker, and I also like to pocket my phone sometimes and that would be tricky with the PopSocket IMO but I’m sure there are lots out there who are content with it so I guess it boils down to your needs and uses! Popsocket hands down. I can switch them out with other designs and I love being able to prop the phone up and watch videos. For the price point I can buy multiple cases and popsockets and mix and match to whatever my current mood is. Loopy is too pricey for my liking.

Hey question though. I use a battery case. And in desperate need of one of these loops/rings. Will pop socket stick to a case strongly ? If not , what would recommend ?

Or you could get spigen’s “style ring” which is a little ring that sticks to the back of your phone (sticks REALLY well, like you’re not prying that thing off) and it turns around 360 degrees around, it can also be used as a kickstand and it will give you a less chance of your phone falling!
I just got a loopy case! So far I am enjoying the feel of it better over my otterbox pop socket case. Downfalls, I don’t think I can use the wireless charger with the loopy case. However, I was irritated that I always needed to remove the pop socket on my otterbox for the wireless charger. I do think it will come in handy to be able to quickly flip the phone over to the back of my hand with the loopy case. Flipping it back doesn’t seem to be as quick and easy.

I actually made my own loopy case cause they took too damn long to come out with one for the galaxy s22. With traditional loopy cases in the past, I've had issues with the loops not lasting very long (2-3 months ymmv), and bigger holes is the key! The loopy loop has never slipped or torn in my homemade case, going on 4 months now.
Popsockets can be used on almost any case, especially cases specialized in drop protection. However, it doesn't stick to silicone and other materials. In my opinion, I'd rather have a popsocket on the case I WANT rather than a case I have to use to have a loopy.
I had issues of my Popsockets falling off, so I just Gorilla Glue them on now. It looks ratchet, but it works.
The only thing stopping me from getting a loopy case is that my current case has storage for my cards, so I don't need to carry around a purse all the time. Is there a loopy case that has card storage in it? Also is the loopy case that durable?
The Loopy case is very durable! Haven't had any issues with it. I do wish I could carry cards with it, but no design is available at this time.
Loopy all the way! I keep trying other cases, because I buy too many of them, and I always go back to the Loopy.
I think popsocket is better due to additional stand function.
I actually use both. lol. I have a pop socket on my loopy case so my daughter can watch videos while out at dinner. 😂

I use a pop socket that's been on the same case for 2 years (love it) and I "pop" it all the time, no problems with it staying on. My problem with it is, I have a sore spot where it rests on my finger. I just ordered a Loopy case, pretty sure I'm going to love it even more!

i fckn love my loopy cases! i bought another one within a month of use because i liked it so much. it's so easy to pick up and know it's secure. i have a regular pixel 2 and propping it up works great. probably because it's not a 2 xl with the added weight. and it's easy to slide into a pocket

It all kind of depends on how the phone is placed on the charger, but some of them do work.

Laura Donkus I think it depends on how it's placed on the charger and even the charger itself. I have to watch how I place mine since it sometimes acts like it won't start charging. Once I readjust, it works. But... Maybe some aren't working.

To be clear we are not comparing two cases here. We are comparing a loopy case(best ever) and a stick on attachment that you need a case for(only sticks to some surfaces)

I have a loopy case and love it. I’m a bit clutzy, and it has helped big time. My favorite thing is being able to have the hand holding my phone free to carry other things. I also like that I haven’t dropped my phone on my face while watching videos in bed at night since I got the loopy case.

I have never tried the Loopy case - so I can’t comment there. However, I have had the Popsocket on my phone for awhile now. I have an IPhone 7 (not the plus) - so my phone is not large anyways... but I can see how it can certainly help grip larger phones. It still helps me hold my phone securely. I watch a lot of videos on my phone / so the stand was a big feature I love! I also like how you can just flatten it - stick it in your purse and your phone is slim again and nothing is catching on anything. I have friends that don’t like the Popsockets because they said it unstuck. I think it’s because they got knockoff junk. Mine has never lifted - even a tiny bit. I ordered mine directly from Popsocket. I have it on my Kate Spade case I love. Only downfall (if you would call it one) is the fidgeting with it. 😁
And I ALWAYS messed with it! But..even with all of that fidgeting, it still stayed put!
I just use Gorilla Glue to stick on a Popsocket. I don't change out my cases unless I get a new phone, so my case that I stick my phone in is my case for the entire time I have that phone.
I prefer LoveHandle to either of those personally. The product lays flat and even with large hands you can get 3 fingers in the elastic loop for a more secure hold on your phone. I found it really convenient for holding your phone up high, over water or a ledge for an optimal photo while on vacation. It helps with selfies if their your thing also. Good review of those two products though.

i don’t exactly have a loopy case but I have a phone case that comes with a rubber loop that i can slide out or slide back into the case. i prefer this to the popsocket as the latter is much bulkier and i had troubles fitting my wallet into my pocket after my phone as the popsocket was blocking it. the loopy case that i have does not prop my phone up but i don’t need my phone to be propped as i normally watch videos on my ipad. overall, the loopy case won for me too :D
Good comparison Stephanie. You asked what we thought or what we use. I use the KardShark cell phone wallet. It has a velcro flap for holding phone, selfies and of course storing cash and cards.
Loopy is much better! I like the price point of the popsocket but loopy is just more convenient and it looks better. The popsocket also got caught on things more - my purse pockets, my jeans pocket, etc. Not a problem with the loopy.
I love popsockets personally I think the little design on it helps to personalize your phone case and I like that you can prop your phone up and you can pop it if you want too lol I never heard of a loopy case before

I got a loopy case 4 yrs ago as a gift when I was coaching volleyball and haven't switched back since! Actually I don't think I could switch at this point I would probably drop my phone all. the. time.
I bought the I-Blason case for my S8. It has the finger loop that totally disappears into the case when not in use. It does lets me prop up my phone as well. It was $17.

I use both, but if I could only choose one it would be Loopy.
Loopy is more slim, easier to put in pocket, never hurts the fingers and easier to carry if hands are full.
Popsocket is less expensive and therefore easier to buy new designs and I like that it props up my phone for kiddo to watch.
I just like em both and aka i just want a phone with case and screen protector

Long-time loopy case user here. I wouldn’t use anything else. Def makes it easy to hold the phone passively and keeps hands free for more important things. A LIFE-SAVER when holding my phone while nursing my baby. I’ve had issues after years of use with the loop wearing down and starting to break, but the company sends out a new one free of charge right away.

I loved the pop socket until my 21 month old decided he liked it too and would try to grab my phone to play with the pop socket and eventually was successful and got it off replaced it same thing happened. I then have switched to a device called pom gear and dont like that one at all. So I ordered a loopy case this weekend. Can't wait to try it.

I have to have a pop socket. I can't stand a phone with out a pop socket. I have the pop socket mount in the car and in the kitchen my room. Pop socket saved my phone from my 5 puppies as well that just turned 5 months old on the 10th.

Yes. They a handful but wouldn't trade them for nothing. And the fact that I tend to drop things so they help me their as well. I mean I never had any other case. So I would not be able to say I would like it or not. But you have a new subscriber.
#LoopyCase is a soccerMom/Dad kind of case! If you are that parent who finds their hands full 9 out of 10 times be it hauling grocery bags from the trunk of your car, holding kids hands to cross the street, hauling things with one arm while trying to key in 🔑 your front door with the other etc..etc.. JUST loop in a finger or two then enjoy all the freedom of both hands as if your phone is not there.. PLUS! no more dropping your phone on your face?!😫 (because you’re laying on your bed holding your phone over your face) it’s funny but it happened to me more than once!😅 -no more of that! I don’t find it pricey considering you get a whole new Case, unlike the other product it’s a sticker, and I also like to pocket my phone sometimes and that would be tricky with the PopSocket IMO but I’m sure there are lots out there who are content with it so I guess it boils down to your needs and uses!

Popsocket hands down. I can switch them out with other designs and I love being able to prop the phone up and watch videos. For the price point I can buy multiple cases and popsockets and mix and match to whatever my current mood is. Loopy is too pricey for my liking.
Not to mention I can poke tiny holes in any case and add silicon bands or strips and get the same affect as a loopy case
