It's amazing how humanity could survive and strive to the point that they could rebuild and incorporate all that Alien Tech into their life and some Alien attacks aren't dealt as a big deal, but also... Storm 1: "I'm going to protect this city!!!" Also Storm :1 *indiscriminately destroys all buildings within sight.* :x Storm 1: "I saved the city!!!"
The aliens barely even need to be here! The edf is doing a fantastic job leveling this city all by itself! The response to snipers on top of buildings is to LEVEL THE BUILDING!
The squidvaders are back! Really liking the new map btw, you can see some clear futurism but it still retains enough pre-invasion architecture to not be too over the top and believable. After all, there's only so much innovation you can bring in three years and I imagine most alien tech R&D was focused on primarily military gear.

Blazer that sergeant use is Prototype , in EDF 5 they just manage make it only one and sent to sergeant use before mass product it and unfortunately research facility and factory all gone by primer attack
since they got quite plenty of Primer techs, they can move to outer space and estabelish their own colony while repairs and preserving the Earth from pollution to make it as Humans home and heavily fortified bastion with their space fleet
A little warning to WD and Fencer players try not to too much melee the enemies in this mission. Or else you will get friendly fire from the "over excited" friendly air forces in the sky. 😉
maybe they ran out of natural resources (on their planet), and returned to the past (to earth, not to their own planet) to take earth's natural resources. So, that's why they attacked humanity, to seize those natural resources. (this is my theory)
There's no international release date given yet. But EDF5 actually took quite a while from its original release (December 2017) until it came out on PC (July 2019). Let's hope it won't take _that_ long this time.
