Thank you for posting this! It's amazing ! I also found something you all would probably be interested in, on the internet archive site. It's a full 1972 episode of Somerset included in a 2-hour block of programming . The episode features Lois Kibbee from The Edge of Night. Unfortunately , it was late afternoon so instead of more soaps it's followed by The Mike Douglas Show. However, I found the whole thing to be worth watching, especially as it was preserved exactly as recorded from the TV broadcast.

Is that India Delaney -- I vaguely recall her on Somerset. Looks like her husband was played by the guy who was the politician in Porkys 3, but can't be sure due to the video quality.
I "amazingly", at least temporarily (I have really eclectic tastes) saw this on television one day as a kid, my Mom was home, and it had an escaped killer/convict on the loose in the area, and it hooked me for awhile!!!!!
"they're stuck in Bay City" love the shout out... And was Mrs. Delaney related to Robert Delaney who was married to Iris Cory and had a child with Clarice Hobson?
Who was writing SOMERSET at this time? Was it Henry Slesar? I have watched some of his work on EDGE OF NIGHT and ONE LIFE TO LIVE. Trying to find his stories on CAPITOL, but no luck yet. And the only SOMERSET episode I saw of his had Lois Kibbee (Emily Mason)
If this character was this upset about the lack of guests in attendance: then why didn't she just leave? Was that Alice Hirson as the restaurant hostess? Was that also Gary Sandy as Randy the waiter?
Maybe everyone was in lockdown 🤷♀️
