that first round is how any kind of dog feels to me. Even if i sneak up perfect and get them from behind something will go wrong and they slip away or i end up on a teammate or wall. Overall driving just aint my thing in this game. I dont play alot of wheels in high ps and neither do most people i watch. But Some of your Videos are a good showcase of how to do it right. Back when you had the Flash Skinner Kapcan Shield annoyance machine for example alot of your outplay vs hovers was just the driving. I learned from that and still use it now when im on a Brick but got degunned.
thx :D ah the fun old days xD yeah, xo doesnt make it easy to drive sometimes, alot of factors to consider from type/configuration of your wheels to the weight distribution of your builds. along with power/speed to get going faster. add in poor hitboxes on environmental objects and weird wedge mechanics, its a whole load of things that can go wrong. ive been playing 6+ years and still learn new/suck at some things! there are alot of hidden mechanics at work, some that wont even show in your garage vehicle stats or weapon descriptions and are only mentioned vaguely in walls of texts in updates long past. such as type 1 and type 2 resistances and how they interact, and co divers or other perks that provide speed and such not showing on build stats. fusion perks, perks that work for the same thing but not together then mess with base stats/item abilities ext. there is alot to consider when building something, and how to drive that build. and then there are personal playstyles, for example, im decent on morta (or i think i am) and find it easy, some clan mates struggle tho as they have never played that way before. the same build, same fusions, wont perform the same due to the player using it and their experience at the game. knowing what risks they can take or what parts of the map they can fit through. (powerplant, along the rails has a really tight pillar gap, soo many ppl have died being stuck there xD) keep playing and trying new things, the more builds you experience the better you will know how to counter them in the future. ive used almost every weapon with few exceptions, devouror (new relic), cacus (i disrespect aimbot), spectres (ive used puns and vectors before). and from using them have learned their strengths and weaknesses. how they handle and what their common layouts are. some builds ive made or tried recently are completely new ideas, like dobbys morta thing, or my ripper harvester. these throw people off as they have no idea how to counter. using the morta we know atom wheels are a instant blocked shot, but most atom wheel users dont know that and will still run away fast af. sry for the long response, they removed cw this week and i have nothing else to do :D
@@Chicken_12345 nothing bad about a wall of text. On the Caucasus: plenty of times they wrecked me when the Enemys had them. But then when i testdrove them in my garage i was like wtf this is just half the damage i can do tapfiring any comparable mg. So i allways considered them shit but still had those moments when enemys using them didnt feel weak. Mostly its group situtions when your not able to go for them cause other more important targets are there, but they still just dps you down over time. Later when i got them, i played them on a Nova hover at pretty high ps. And to my suprise this taught me alot. The gun itself is shit, the dps weak compared to others and you cant choose what part to aim for. So there i was playing that thing against scorps and other nasty things not even able to tap at their guns. But exactly this lack of any ability to perform better on damage forced me to find other possible improvements in my playstyle. Stuff like usage of Cover or optimized positioning in relation to cover or teammates that could help. Timing their reload and dodging / shielding acordingly. And since you dont need any brainpower to aim you have more time in the fight to think about all the other choises you make. I still think the bit of time i played that thing gave me benefits that stayed with me so it was well worth it.
Love this series
loving the meat grinders such a fun meta
