I bought me one last year. I have a wings jersey collection dating back to the mid 90's. I have every jersey from the 02 hall of fame team. I bought me a Larkin, Raymond, Seider and Kane jersey. There's a few minor league prospects jersey id like to get when they play in Detroit. I did buy Edvinsson jersey though.
Kane Cat Larkin was the team's most effective line last year by a big margin. And both Kane and Cat were completely ineffective centered by Compher. If Kane spends the majority of next year centered by Compher, the team will be in big trouble bc it will be a one line team. The Compher Kane line will not score. As for 'chemistry', they have practiced together in the offseasons literally for over half a decade, including w Cat. It didn't help last year. They can't work together.
Kane Cat and the Compher siblings have trained together for years in the offseason. There are old stories about it from 5, 6 years ago. Pat led the team last year in points per 60 and 5v5 goals per 60 and has no business playing on the 2nd line w Compher, w whom he was completely ineffective offensively, even w Cat as the other wing almost always. His line w Cat and Larkin meanwhile was the best the team had all year by a good margin, much better than the Raymond version at both scoring and not being scored on. If Kane is with Compher expect the team to struggle to win, bc they will lose the scoring of both Kane and whoever the other wing is, just as they lost both Kane and Cat's offense w him last year. They have sacrificed depth scoring already w the offseason moves (Fabbri and Sprong out), if they have a 2nd line that can't score either they are in real trouble.
The siblings, Kane and Cat have trained together for years, or at least were training together like 5-6 years ago at one time - there is an old story about it. So. They're not new to each other. Chemistry is nice but sometimes the skills and styles just are a mismatch.
