    I suggest always wrapping the new plumbing assembly with a wet rag prior to applying heat to protect the internal rubber diaphragm in back flow assembly. Thanks for posting.❤✌️👍🇺🇸

    Good practice to open all valves to allow heat to escape solder joint.

    Always wrap Teflon tape in the same direction as the threads, which is clockwise. Rookie move on your part brother.

      Haha, I was wondering when someone would notice… luckily it doesn’t actually matter in real life applications if you get enough tape on the threads. It’s def best practice though :)

      it actually does matter in real life applications. if you put the tape counterclockwise it comes loose. @@beardedspruce
