Whenever I see someone is blocking another cat from merging behind me, I slow down and give the person who wants to merge in that hé/ she van go in front of me.
If you’re gonna merge & u see tire car coming up like that, keep proceeding & be assertive, if they’re really pissed off then they’ll probably get out their car. Don’t give them an opportunity to keep driving alongside you.
If I break down on a clear way would I get fined? I’d like to think not as it’s not your fault if you break down and you’re allowed to stop on a clear way for reasons outside of your control.

When you change lanes, you have to yield to ALL other road users on the lane you're going into. Second: courtious and polite: That's a whole other ballgame and I might even agree with you. However: the law is the first rule, politeness comes second. If the Mini driver wants to be rude: he/she has choosen for the law. By cutting her/him off like the video car did, he retaliated for his/her rudeness.

Be more forceful when merging in, i think you're too lenient.
