Mysteries & Megaliths: Exploring Europe's Largest Megalithic Landscape - Avebury - Part 1!

This hike starts at the incredible, and prehistoric, West Kennet Avenue, an avenue of processional stones leading to the World's biggest megalithic stone circle, Avebury Henge.
After soaking in the Stones and village, we set off towards the mysterious Silbury Hill, Europe's largest artificial hill.
We then head to Britain's biggest and most impressive Neolithic chambered tomb, West Kennet Long Barrow, and explore inside.....SPOOKY!
This is Part 1 of 2, in Part 2 we will keep hiking through this historical landscape to reach Wiltshire's highest points, Milk and Tan Hill, see the Alton Barnes White Horse and walk along some of the awesome Wansdyke, ancient defensive earthworks....so look forward to that!
