It keeps a magical hold on our imaginations and numerous artists have romanticized its beauty and mystique. And while it may be all those things, it is also a place where local residents live, and shop for groceries, and have coffee and socialize. If you can take the time to get there early or late and off the beaten track, you can begin to enjoy the simple beauties of Venice. Certainly, see the big sights, but also take some time to get to know it. Such a wonderful and beautiful place. Keep on Steppin -H

According to the Mayo Clinic, a daily brisk walking routine can help you maintain a healthy weight and lose body fat, reduce stress and tension, improve your mood, and consequently live longer. And it doesn’t have to be hard. You can work your way up to longer and faster walks, alternate walking speeds. Just push yourself a little bit every day and you can see benefits. It’s a simple fat burning cardio exercise and workout.
Apparently, every 2000 steps walked reudces the risk of early death by 8-11%.
My Story: I'm a filmmaker by trade. In 2016, we sold our house to go traveling for the year in Europe. Since I couldn't work there, I decided to start another TH-cam Channel. I love walking as a way to explore and this was an easy thing to share. It got popular and I've continued. My goal is to share these treadmill travel videos to help your work out with virtual walks.

I been there! Twice in 2011, not to mention the days we arrived and left. We explored with a good street map and basically got “ lost “ in the city. Our boys were about 13 and 15 and it was end of September early October, PERFECT weather the whole two weeks we were in Italy. We did Pisa, Cinque Terra, Dolomites, guys did Lamborghini factory, Venice twice, Switzerland, marble quarries, and our home base was Vicenza.

My mom lived and worked in Milano for most of the 90s. I used to visit her after saving up all my vacation time.
We went to Venice on day trips. It looks a lot cleaner now than it did back then!
We got off at a stop on the grand canal because they advertised a DaVinci exhibit at a small museum. We meandered from there to San Marco and got lost and found a wonderful place to grab a delicious lunch.

One of the reasons I so enjoy your walks/video is because you travel areas the same way I do. You go through the main streets but then explore down side streets, look at the architecture, look in open doors, and just wander and wonder. You would make a great travel partner. Not all want to wander like I do. Thanks.

I’m so beyond excited to have found your channel. I stumbled upon your virtual walking tours when I was looking up Christian worship workout videos of all things. I’ve got a goal to walk a minimum of 15k steps and some days are more difficult than others. This is so fun and it totally made me forget that I was exercising.
