- Mein Schiff 2 is a Centuri class Cruise ship owned and operated by TUI Cruises (Former Celebrity Cruises), started public operation on 27th October 1997.
The cruise ship accommodates 1912 passengers.
The ship’s overall dimensions are 264m long x 32m wide, consisting of 12 decks, pools, lounges, many restaurants and bars, arcades, recreational areas, luxury outlets, theatres, etc. The ship’s tonnage is 77,302 Tons. Cruises at a speed of 21.5 Knots.
In a pleasant morning with crisp clear weather, we STOPPED FOR A WHILE at Muttrah Port to witness the entry of Mein Schiff 2 to Oman, recorded video clips and mixed with background music to suite.

Thanks so much my dear friend. Nice to see you enjoyed it. I used just a tripod and an iPhone 14 Pro for this video. If you did it by drone, it sure would be much more greater for sure. I had the same problem for so long. Did not know how to be there at the right time. Recently I just googled for cruise ship schedules. Now referring cruisedig.com. for port schedules, and cruisemapper app for tracking. You can try those or any other similar sites and apps as you like. Good luck to fulfill your wish of recording a cruise ship. (To tell you the funny side, when I saw a cruise ship at port, I used to stop my car and ask the tourists for the time of departure so that I can come back and record. Most of them drive me away thinking that I was a guide trying to catch business).

We are familiar with these cruise ships coming into port when we are on holiday.
It's just horrible, the traffic and people jams they cause.
We stay clear of ports where they come in now. And would never holiday on a cruise ship.
