Big drop in container imports coming; 21 February 2020

With Chinese factories remaining closed after their new year holidays in late January, due to the Coronavirus scare, Chinese exports have crashed - and 4 weeks later, the factories are only just beginning to come back online.
This means that over the past 4 weeks, shipping lines have cancelled many voyages from China to N Europe and the UK - and that the container haulage industry in the UK will suffer.
