@@viarender I saw your other video about twinmotion where you explain the resolution change for glass in the settings of twinmotion and voila! problem fixed!. It was lack of resolution. I'm working with an outdoor scene full of glass walls. you can imagine that nightmare :)
Hello. So I usually have this problem where I use an exterior hdri but it looks blurry in final render. What could be the problem Also when I al download a tree asset from let's say ambient cg, turbosquid the tree doesn't import with texture, how do I fix that. Thanks
Hi there. For the HDRi, go to the settings (control P, I think, or go to Edit and settings, top left of the screen). Scroll down till you see the option for HDRI. Set the export size to max. Also, outside assets may need to have the correct texture maps applied manually. This is done by loading them into TM. Each Material tab (Diffuse, Normal, Roughness etc) can be opened up to reveal more settings. You can manually load maps here.
@@meganneroyer5208 it’s a frustrating limit of the engine, but here are some things that worked for me: very thick walls in the building, reducing the Shadow Bias slider and Shadow distance slider (especially in Lumen). The Path Tracer ignores light bleed, so single renders with PT are good!
Great video! thanks for sharing. I wish there is a tutorial about how to deal with a lot of glass for walls.
Thanks a million for watching and takiing the time to comment. What issue are you having with glass and walls?
