Thanks for the post game analysis guys. Amazing game by the Defense. Just need them to continue building on their success; and for the offense to start showing any positive signs of life. To many ups and downs in both the passing and running game. Grubb needs to scheme better to make it easier for the O-line. Focus on a few plays he knows they can do well, and then start building off of those.
I think using the TD/INT ratio to describe his talent has a few issues: I'm not just saying with an average OL it would be a 31 td 3 int ratio, but it would probably be different and it's worth trying to guess how different Some of the int is a function of how much they pass, so it's probably more useful to look at it on a rate basis. The response to that is well why then aren't there more TDs? Ints can happen anywhere whereas you have to string together successful drives to get to the end zone to get TDs. This is a way OL contributes negatively to both stats, by forcing more pass plays and then providing fewer redzone opportunities. Lastly I may be wrong but I think I read coming into today they were top ten in rushing TDs maybe on a rate basis, so that somewhat cannibalizes the passing TDs. A response to that would be maybe they have to run more because Geno isn't good in the redzone, but it might still just be a characteristic of the offensive design or overall strengths and weaknesses
Geno getting sacked frequently on 3rd down is play calling 1st and then 2nd Geno just holding the ball hoping for a home run to materialize. Grubb's mediocrity and disconnect from reality is simply making it too easy for the opposing defense. Grubb has been delusional most of the year, thinking he has the Washington Huskies O-line when he calls the plays. He makes Waldron look like a real strategist and competent OC--and that's really saying something. All year Grubb simply hasn't admitted what the O-line is and accepted that with his strategy in play calling--and then trained the players to have the right mindset in that context. Instead it's just delusion and hoping for home runs. Even a high school OC could call plays for this offense. Grubb is just a warm body taking space for this Offense. If the Seahawks hope to grow beyond middle-of-road, then an offense overhaul is step one. It feels like they are just clinging to what they know because it feels safer. You can't be great without trying new strategies to find what's better . . . . . It's just too easy for a defense. If Schneider sticks with Grubb and doesn't completely overhaul the offensive scheme/strategy, then he will likely be run out with that tide . . . . and deserve it for such delusion and hopium addiction. Everyone thought is was a Pete thing, but if this same Offense mediocrity persists into next year via bringing back the same crew, then it was more likely a Schneider thing and not a Pete thing. And he needs to be held accountable for it instead of trotting out the same mediocrity without consequence. People will say, "but the bad O-line is not Grubb's fault". Yes, it partly is. He is scheming plays that make them look worse. His staff is responsible for developing the O-line. You can't just draft and sign guys and throw them together and then by magic they become great. A great O-line is dependent on coaching and strategy, just like it is with Mike's Defense. The O-line side of the ball is malpractice and neglect at this point.
Great coverage!! Go Hawks!!
Love to celebrate a good win
Great game for Big Cat. I've been a bit worried about him this year.
Always love your coverage. Thanks Rob and Robbie.
My favorite Seahawks coverage whether it’s “real media” or just a blogger
Go Hawks!

I remember when you said Williams was bad to give up that draft pick 😂

Cheers to $480 Mark!
