This is something I've been looking into for a little while. My wife and I use two phones interchangeably. Now we want to update our phones so we have two matching (or similar models) phones on one family line. I don't see family lines anymore; when I was young our house had three phones that shared two lines (a main and back up). There is a simple convenience to having a single sourced contact for a family. This isn't to say having a family line takes away from having a separate number. With dual SIM phones you can differentiate between someone calling you or the family. Makes sense to have one line when in contact with: children's school, social events, certain appointments, family friends, utility or repair workers, really any situation that both people could receive the same info and either person could reply.
short, sweet, to the point, no bullshit, no gimmicks, just facts.. this is the first video ive seen of yours but i am now a subscriber. I wish more youtubers, especially tech related youtubers, were like you. Nobody wants to see a whole production or be annoyed af over the creator yelling and screaming and making a scene and acting a fool.. Im lookin forward to seeing more videos from you in the future..
Just make sure you trust people around you.. I got my phone stolen.. randomly showed up again..and found out someone I trusted got a hold of my Sim card number n Sim N hacked into my phone... stole everything! Basically my life. But they didn't get far cause fbi is on to them
I still have my 11 pro max but switched to the z fold 5. If I can both of them work without having to switch SIM cards constantly would be a lifesaver.
They will both work without sim cards. You have just been misled by phone companies. Take them out, set them aside, because other than the " no sim card 💳 " message your phones no different than mine Small print: mine has no sim card 💳 and yet here I am typing this out. Me. I'm smarter than my smartphone
Great video! Knew that one day it would be possible in some arrangement/configuration! Great! Now other companies need to get on it too! Looking forward to the "kinks" being ironed out! Cheers!
So glad you posted this video! I was searching on how to CLONE my SIM so that I could do exactly this, now I don't need to go that route. Just added T-Mobile paired Digits to my plan!
Does this only work with the newest smartphones? Or would you be able to use paired digits with virtually any smartphone created within, let’s say, the last 2-3 years?
great vid JQ...was just wondering though...those speakers of yours stand out in your setup like a sore thumb...have you ever thought about vinyl wrapping them in baby blue vinyl...just a thought...would also make an awesome video too
Actually haha, for that exact reason, I literally bought the vinyl wrap it's and it's been sitting in my closet ever since. Didn't have patience for it, might consider getting them professionally done.
Have a question. You have definitely intrigued me. Can you download apps on both phones. Example I have a TH-cam channel that I only film with one phone. Can I do this and have the app of you cut and get both video angles?
Does those security code that send from login site will go through the digits app itself or just the primary phone that you have the original Sim card installed?
Too bad they limited the speed and now charge $10 per each mo. Otherwise this would have been a really good feature. $10/mo & rate limited is too much for something only to use every once in a while.
Oddly enough I just saw this video, while searching for videos about the claims that the 2020(new iPhone SE) has dual Sim card capabilities. I last looked into this in early 2019 when hearing that the international version of the (Samsung S 9 plus) had limited capabilities of this option. So my question is does this new (2020 iPhone SE)do what all the others claimed without any exceptions or false expectations of a true [ 2 into 1 ] phone experience.
I was wondering how that was going to work with iMessage I’ve been looking for a solution to be able to have both my iPhone and my android on one number and I was excited about this but I was wondering how iMessage was going to function correctly as soon as he said he would have to have a disabled it’s like well this is a non-start
I’m curious, have you found anything that works? I would love to have messages and calls sent to an android flip phone which I can use for the basics, but I still want everything coming through to the iPhone, specifically so I can still use iMessage and Apple Watch.
best app is called beeper there's a waitlist but I like it I get my iMessages and it works like iMessage on my androids but the texts come in from that phone like like normal so @@closeben
I want 2 simcard with same number, but i wish i can turn off one device to use one at a time (not to on both at same time), is this possible to do? cuz I'm lazy to switch the simcard between the home 5g internet and my phone internet
i check my phone... i have 2 sim slot under about me? 1 says unknown? the other 1 with my number i use daily? my question is.. how come i have 1 sim slot says uknown?
this is sort of my scenario. I like to switch between my pixel 2 xl and iphone x. on the regular. imessage locks my texts down. I have such a hard time some times. I wrote down instrctions that worked for me once. then it didnt work for me a second time. i have to remove my phone from my itunes account, turn off imessage/facetime, then wait like 1-2 days, then log out of my phone. THEN switch the SIM. some times, it works....some times it doesnt. what do you do in that scenario????
TeQreation the problem is I like imessage. I can send pics and videos and people can see them at full resolution. Can't get that on my pixel. Not yet anyhow.
I want to switch from an LG X-power to an IPhone 6S plus and i got told that a sim card for an LG can't fit in the place to put your sim card for an IPhone. So can i ask for a device store to put the same number on a new sim card. Will that work or no? I'm pretty sure that i'm with At&t. Pls help so i can know if i have to get a new sim card and a different number.
Thanks, I love the functionality of the current smart phones, but would like something that was smaller and more durable to carry in the pocket when outside, working, and hard on phones. Paired Digits may give me the functionality that I need.
Excellent video but one mayor detail left out,its not free its 15$ extra a month for this service i just called after i seen this video and was notified by t mobile rep its not free unless u just use the wifi app at home.. i knew it was to good to be true..
does the pared digits cost you a monthly service fee? I am wondering because there is a tracking device i bought that apperently needs a sim card to track the device but now you have to buy a sim card for it and i guess put a plan on it or pre paid service on it, so i am wondering if this duplicating your sim card work to have one on your main phone and one in the device even tho the gps device wont take any messages or anything but from your main phone your suppose to be able to send it a command and it will reply back to your phone with a browser link. The device is called a GF-07 gps tracking device I would greatly appreciate any info you find out on it and anything....thanks.
I use Google Voice (I had it since it was called Grand Central; before Google bought it about a decade ago) a free service. They made an app so you can make creams from it but it's not required you can set it to automatically call from that number. Or you can set to prompt you. You get free long distance and cheap international calls.
If you cloned your SIM card then it avoids having to move one SIM card from one device to another and as long as only one of the devices is turned on at a time, it should work because there is no way to know what's going on. I mean it would be exactly the same as switching one sim from device to device. Why is it so hard to clone SIM cards, even if it's just to have a backup in case of losing one of them?
Had this happen by accident while switching from t-mobile to att and had somebody else replying to my number provided by att from somebody from t-mobile. Critical information could have been compromised due to this. Lawsuit? What do you think?
Thanks so much for this vidéo , so i wan a clone my sim card so if possible tell me wich programme i use to do that, out operator gives us an offer internet ans Free calle. So i wan a use first sim for free Internet in smartphone and the second for calling only in the second phone thanks for your hellp i appreciat so much,

Been waiting for a video like this for years! Thanks bro. Great job facilitating the process
Super well made video.
Thanks Jacklyn!

Thank you! What a great, clear, deep dive into how to get this done!
Glad I caught you! Excellent video , got the exact info needed.
Exactly What I Needed!
I need this for when I work cause I work in construction and I'm tired to cracking my screens but just wanna have two phones
That's why I'm here! Just got my new phone and and want to continue using my beat up phone when at work!
I still have my 11 pro max but switched to the z fold 5. If I can both of them work without having to switch SIM cards constantly would be a lifesaver.

I'm one of the beta testers for this since day one and I love it!
Tony Pazo how
Do you get charged for both devices
can you have the same app running on both phones and use the app on whichever phone?
Does it give cellular connection
That’s wat I need to know
This is fantastic!! I wish at&t had this.
Does this still work in 2021?
Thanks for info!
So glad you posted this video! I was searching on how to CLONE my SIM so that I could do exactly this, now I don't need to go that route. Just added T-Mobile paired Digits to my plan!
Does it cost more?
I thought I was the crazy one with two phones 📱 perfect video bro thanks.

I also got 2 cards with the same number .. O2 does it in germany for a while now ** also carrying ios and android at the same time xD ..
Great video. Thorough and easy to understand.
Nice video mate, is there an option on Virgin for doing this?
Also, WHAT is that on your desk? A mini PC? What is the name of the case?
Thank you 🙏 😊
Hi, when you send and receive sms, are you have to use the digits app in your phone? Or you just send it normally with native phone app for that ?
Do you have to use t-mobile to use the app?
Can I do this with a us cellular phone and a a link phone?
Do you think it will work on mint mobile since they use t mobile

So can you have the same # with the digits? ....

Hey, which monitors are you using? Couldn't see a updated setup video on your channel.
Shalom Bhopale It's literally on my channel
Is T-Mobile the only carrier that this works for?
T mobile is the only one doing this right now. Hopefully other telecom companies start doing this too...
what wallpapers d'you use????
FT Tech I use backdrops app
I went into T-Mobile and got it set up and they say I have to use it through the digits app. How did you get yours through just the phone?

Is there an additional charge from T-Mobile for this?
Is it $10 per month not really sure
I wonder if apples built in call forwarding features would collide with this service if I used two iPhones.
Dose it work in all countrys
does this still work?
The intro song reminds me of a pr0n vid I watched some months ago lmfao. Good video tho!
Anyone know of anything like this in Australia?
Nein man
this has been a feature for years in my country..
John Yenagritis That's incredible!
i check my phone...

Get an Apple Watch with LTE along with the T-Mobile digits. Problem solved
Just tried to do this, neither the "mobile experts" nor the tech support could make the 2nd sim connect

I have T-Mobile, will I need to add another plan for my second phone? Or can I have both phones on my current plan?
I have t-mobile phone... minus the plan. Minus the sim card. It is just a device. I use it to answer TH-cam threads like this
Awesome babe.😘😘😘
How much is it a month
Can you guys please confirm if this still work in 2020? And how much does it cost for one user with no family plan?
Do you pay extra to do this?
Iss there. Any other networks doing. This
Thanks,

I use this cus of covid, i leave all my work stuff in my car and take a shower. Easy and clean, just cost of a phone and the plan
Will "WhatsApp" work, while synchronizing the full-text conversation on both phones that share one number?
Great video. Do you have to make calls and texts from the digits app?
No not at all. Use the native texting app. 2 independent sim cards
@@TEQREATION thank you!
