Hi Tem, just want to say, I wasn't too keen on this game, then every content creator started releasing videos on it, but yours is the only one worth watching and now I am keen to play this game as well
@@GunsNerdsandSteel I am really enjoying the lore. For being an early access game I havent had one crash or quest bug I couldnt complete, its been a stellar experience. Now I did make the mistake of getting 3 of my buddies to buy it and then I put up a dedicated server. What a mistake that was. Dedicated server serves no purpose once a quest is completed by anyone its done for everyone. Me and all my buddies started hosting our own games so that if we need help someone else can hop in and help but as far as being multiplayer, it is not. Really curious to see what gets added when they do a first real patch. Sorry for the long winded reply, love the free content, thanks!
I’ve been building flame alters and craft benches when I need to repair my sword, comes in really handy for very little materials. You can also use the alter to fast travel back to base, clear your inventory, and then TP back to where you were without having to run the entire way
I cannot stop playing this game. It's a masterpiece. It has so much potential and if they capitalize on it this could be the perfect survival/base building game. I am ADDICTED. Survival games are my fav genre and I am SUPER picky about them. But holy hell this game is just amazing. Once they get it polished up the sky is the limit.
Hi Tem, thought I'd engage instead of lurk this time. Try equipping the bow and leaving it in your inventory. This frees up a hotbar slot and lets you stay on your sword & board, then hold [Q] to hot swap to the bow. Same can be done for staves, if you're a magic user, but it's one ranged weapon equipped to the hot swap key.
Episode 4. Lets see if he notices the cheap skill in the middle for extended shroud time this episode. Also, you missed the secret door on the top on the other side of the farmer vault. There is a grapple point to swing from the top of the stairs to the broken side to get over there.
Two points, you crafting a lockpick needs 2 scraps, Oswald can do it in at 1:1. Not that you really /needed/ to use it as the door is wood and you have a big, tree-chopping, wood-cutting axe.
You can double jump over the electic sparks. You can also use bombs against the doors, so you don't need to look for the switches. It is also a game where ranged is far superior and the wand is massively overpowered if you spec into it and you can use it while jumping around like a madman. Just make sure you have health potions on your hotbar because you pick so many up that you will need more storage if you don't use them.
Stupid Mistbury Catacombs. I missed the second button as well and to this day never found it it. I was able to get to the roof and just drop into the loot chamber.
sorry for a few post but seems you are still using left mouse for bow. if you hold down right mouse button it lets you pull the bow back, walk and free aim for head shots. head shots give critical hits.
haha i died like that at the button too! thanks for the awesome vid, loving this series as im addicted to this game! found out about it by the demo vid you did.
I appreciate your game play. I know you like your sword and board, but i wanted to recommend putting enough points into healing to get the aura for healing. It'll help immensely for your healing needs, and may even eliminate need for bandages / potions.
the metal urns inside the vaults really aren't that crazy for loot but when you get into the higher level areas they drop really rare resources and scrolls, Not as worth as higher leveled areas are. As for the better blocks you need to get yourself some limestone then you can make the fancy stone blocks, but also keep an eye out for glowing blue patches in caves in the northern parts of the map you can get luminescent blocks by mining the blue glowing ore in caves in the shroud.
All the weapons really only shine if you spec into them. Both staff and two-handed have a skill that speeds up attack, both are pretty horrible if you try them out as an unspecced newb user. You can respec at your flame alter for a few runes if you want to test out different weapon styles.
if you follow the alchemist's quests, it's the same location that he sends you to for the mortar. On the west side of the same mountain where Mistbury Catacombs (queen's tomb) has its entrance on the east side.
Are you experiencing a lot of crashes? I have a mid grade laptop and after seeing Ja Woodle crash so much I am not sure if I can play this one. Help would be appreciated.
@samiam4544 Jawoodle recorded pre-release. They released a hot fix shortly after the game released for everyone. His crashes should resolve once he starts recording again.
Make sure you actually test your weapons. Just because one number is bigger doesn't mean it is better with upgrades. The extra damage from your legendary weapon means it is probably doing more damage than your new one. I recently found a new weapon that was 12 damage listed higher than my upgraded Wailing, but because of the extra 20 damage from the wailing being upgraded, it really wasn't stronger. Looking at the actual damage numbers again similar enemies in this video, your Wailing Blade did more damage against a level 13 shroud enemy than your ice sword did against a level 11 shroud enemy.
Maybe you can get through to Jawoodle... He is on day 7 or 8 and still has not figured out that destroying things get him scraps and items. Still thinks killing enemies is the only way to get scrap metal :( Oh, love the upgraded weapons and to repeat what others have stated, cannot wait to see your base building skills in this game. By the way, did you ever do builds in "The Forest"?

I'm hooked, it's really fun!

Later game spheres and vases are still worth you you'll get copper bronze tin and iron ingots in them and scrolls
beat me to this one, even bronze too. how i made my bronze pick axe with ease.
This series has to take priority over pal world ....This is amazingly fun to watch
Those blue shooty flowers in the shroud give you mats to make shroud arrows that are very helpful.

Knowing you, I will be expecting some epic builds at future dates.
Looks at the scavenger, "I don't fancy yours much!"

Agree 💯
Need the Carpenter and then go on his quest to get the saw blade and when that is done build the bench and hey presto make planks

Ah thanks for the tip, I remember seeing that slot but never investigating it!

So far my only real complaints with this game have been the RNG of rarity on the unique named items.
I also had to go for the double jump it's so strong I may respec at some point but for now it's too good for climbing mountains and jumping over traps

Your base doesn't look so bad to me! I mean, by all means keep at it, but I liked the dual stone/wood texture!
haha i died like that at the button too! thanks for the awesome vid, loving this series as im addicted to this game! found out about it by the demo vid you did.
I've been playing this game on a one life/one world perma-death rule set. It's so good..
Two hander slow for swinging but GREAT for the jump attack because damage is based on weapon + weight which it is great for.
also good for breakig (stunning)

Oh cool, I'll look into that!
Good morning Tem.
Morning!
i make my second weapon a 2 handed blunt weapon, even though im not speced into that, a two handed blunt is great for smashing boxes for loot and wood

🥃👏
Looks like you missed a button in the room with the mortar, might be missing loot
Nah just cut out the 10 minute search that yielded nothing 🤣
@@GunsNerdsandSteel makes sense.
So you get hardwood from redwood. But redwood is a softwood
True but the terms hardwood and softwood refer to the botanical grouping of the wood rather than its physical properties or “hardness”.
Yep balsa wood the lightest wood is a hardwood
I think it's has to do with seeds
Ok new friend I'm going to check this game out looks really cool and fun 😊,hi from USA Kentucky back woods.
I do like the boss music in game, was looking forward to the boss music when you were going to fight big mamma, but it was not :(
I don't put game music in my videos for copyright reasons
I figured, but ya the music for her is fun. @@GunsNerdsandSteel
If you really need metal scrap... you go back to the area you started in and use the pickaxe to mine the pod you came out of.
Whwe is that blues epic sword location ön the map? I searched for IT but didn't find it.😢
if you follow the alchemist's quests, it's the same location that he sends you to for the mortar. On the west side of the same mountain where Mistbury Catacombs (queen's tomb) has its entrance on the east side.

Not a single one for me yet 🤔
He is having a super rough time, super funny. Wonder if he updated his Nvidia drivers.
@@GunsNerdsandSteel Thank you, I can run most games on low settings was just worried after seeing woodle crash so often. Might be an isolated issue.

Hi
For this game, can you do hour long videos?
he's editing out a lot, probably filming at least 2 hours for 25 minutes of footage, hour long videos means much longer filming/editing sessions.

longer
Real wolves would have surrounded you, just saying
I’m the first like and comment… 🫶🏼🫣🤫
I don't know, this game just feels empty, ok it has a nice world, but the rest ? loot is very sparse, so rinse and repeat game 😞
