This show was so special, for context, Lady gaga organized this concert with Westfield as a complete gift to the fans, you could get the tickets all over the world for free, she also gave us all free food, drinks and merch of love for sale, i felt so loved as a fan, she truly cares about us, i haven't seen any pop artists doing something quite like this at all. It was a unique and wonderful live experience i hadn't have in a long time, i laughed and cried, and at the end of the show my cheeks hurt because of smiling throughout the whole concert, she's hypnotizing and fascinating as a performer, it's just delightful to watch her, i love you gaga, until the end of time.
She had an electric pop remix album last month, a jazz album this month and the leading role in a blockbuster movie next month. Tell me one person with such versatility, I'll wait...
This whole show is a reminder that Lady Gaga is a HUGE talent with a major understanding of what is like to be a performer, you have to feel connected to what you sing, to put a lot of passion and my god doesn't she do that, she also relies a lot on theatrics aka a form of art that's very rare nowadays and hard to pull of. If anyone had told me when bad romance came out that I would someday hear lady Gaga sing jazz I would have called them crazy. But here she is being an eminent musician and thriving at everything she does in life.
Lady G is the best thing to happen to jazz music in years. She has turned it round from a perceived elitist area of music and made it into a popular art form. There will be millions of new fans who would not have entertained listening to jazz if it had not been for Gaga's recordings with Tony B and she has to be championed for freshening up the form for a new generation.

Great Jazz performance with a few pop songs thrown in. I was fortunate to grow up near the city where US jazz stars fled to get away from persecution in the states. So jazz never died here, with a bunch of local stars picking up the baton and becoming global jazz stars themselves. I still wonder if the audience for her one C2C concert here was 30000 or 70000.

Gaga's version of La Vie En Rose constantly makes me cry and I don't know what she's saying. She translated some of it here but I wasn't really listening for the lyrics because it's her vocals that always get me. There's so much emotion and power there.
