- I've already uploaded More Family Misfortunes, now here is Family Misfortunes, which was the first compilation of silly answers from the show. It's hosted by Les Dennis, but this one also features mishaps from the Bob Monkhouse and Max Bygraves eras.

"A cup of tea" and "a funeral" were my first thoughts after those questions too... and I'm not even under pressure...
At least it's not like the US version when someone gives a stupid answer, and the rest of the family is all going "Good answer!"
Or when someone says "penis" and the whole audience cheers and applauds like it's the greatest thing they've ever seen

Some research I’ve done on the two shows:
Family Fortunes began in 1980, four years after the show it was inspired by, the USA’s Family Feud.
Family Feud airs 5 days a week, year-round on daytime television. Family Fortunes was a prime time show that only aired once a week, and only in a series of 20 or so shows. As a result, Family Feud has aired over 7,000 episodes while the entire Monkhouse/Bygraves/Dennis Family Fortunes produced fewer than 500.
Despite this, Family Fortunes was airing new episodes while Family Feud was off the air in the USA from 1995 to 1999. This episode aired in 2000.
you’re wrong. it’s not year-round, it’s actually a season(series) so only a certain number are actually new as 1/3rd to 1/4th are repeats.
Family Feud has prime time shows and still has a large number of episodes, it’s simply that it has been production for 40 of the past 46 years.

I've seen websites claim that there was a contestant who answered "Arabs" when asked "Name a dangerous race" but I can't find any proof that it existed, and one source said it was cut from the original airing.

Not sure what this is about. The exact same episode has two different versions: in this video, the first misfortune with Kenny is about a "Famous Arthur". But in another video of this exact same episode, it's a different blooper completely. What gives?

I would love to see Steve Harvey do the UK version, because in the US version they force all the contestants to clap and say 'good answer'
