Here in the UK the first Urals were imported in the early 70s buy an East London dealer called Wells. He also imported Jawa/CZ's The Urals didn't sell as they had terrible reliability problems and dropped oil from new. These look like they have very much improved . Disks alone help a lot. you had to really haul on the old drums to slow these heavy old buses .
Hello from Germany i‘m owner from a 2016 Ural Retro EFI an i have always trouble with the Engine. She runns not round by drive 50 Km/h in the City. I have rechanged to the original silencer and from K&N Airfilter to original. After changing it‘s a litle bit bedder, but not fine! I have seen in the Internet for this Electrojet Injection an EJK-Kit to change the fillment. Have you seen this one, or installed? Here in Germany nobody can tell me it‘s good or not. Thank you for your answer and sorry for my bad english. I‘m 65 years old and i‘m from the east side! I can write and talk russian 🤣👍 Best Regards from good old Germany and stay Health

300 to 500 is the first service. We service per the Ural Owners Manual complete with valve check/adjustment. The wheel spokes also receive extra attention as well.

In 1985, a neighbor had a green Ural. Such was the problem to buy in the USSR, there was a shortage of Blalodaren.

Sounds like your bike needs tuned and remapped. We have not seen good results with the EJK

Yes, you could install a hitch. We are not a fan of trailer towing with bikes however.
