I worked with victims of sex trafficking in the Middle East - 90% of those were underage girls. At that time, the youngest was officially 11 but looked no older than 8. My job was case management from when they would reach our shelter, till repatriation. Lengthy court cases held them back in the country - they often had to be cleared from "adultery", then became witnesses against the traffickers. I'll never forget one of the girls telling me how she was beaten then raped in order to submit to prostitution. "I was not married", she said, meaning "I was a virgin". Believe me: this is industry is real, is huge, and some customers are people in authority, politicians and millionaires, from all over the world. And they don't want it to end.

This lady needs to open her eyes and mind to reality. During my last decade in health care prior to retiring after 40+yrs involved working with chronic pain patients. More then 50% of them had been severely abused as children! The stories were horrific. Children don't reveal these atrocities... how are they to know it's not the life everyone lives. I was approached as a 13 year old teenager by a man in a car who invited me to do a photo shoot as I had the look they were looking for.
