Love the weapon displays with the bars on them nice touch I was hoping someone would do a camp on this I brought it need to decorate more need to try that merge glitch looks hard but I'll try it to much open space cheers 🥂 I also brought the trailer the comfort bundle comes with the hot tub or whatever it's called like the owner lives in the back and owns the shop out some brick 🧱 partitions up around the whole thing
Sounds like a solid approach. 😎 The merge glitch isn't too bad really. The specific guide video I did on it makes it a bit clearer. Tbh the hardest part is when the shelves aren't evenly spaced! Eyeballing that can be a pain.
Welcome to Appalachia! Glad you enjoyed the build. The prefab is on the Atomic Shop at the moment if it's something you want. I've got a ton of builds up using other prefabs as well as self constructed stuff too. Plenty too keep you busy if you're looking for something! 😎
@@DarthXionGames for sure. I was confused with the face pained balls. I assume it is in reference to "Castaway", but what has that got to do with Atlantic City OR West Virginia?? I never saw the movie (was not interested), so I do not know if the main character was from either city/area. Again, why those? Plain sports balls I could understand.
@Garouwerks the concept has cropped up in a number of stranded/marooned/castaway stories. I'm not sure what the connection is though either, other than a tenuous "beach" connection. They make a fun random decoration object though.
Work in progress fix for you backdoor issue. Roofs, Its not perfect, im getting some hit box issues, which require the roof to be slighly higher than the back step. Assuming you already know how build roofs close to the ground, old dog, new tricks and all, the army base roof works well. I covered up any gaps with flowers, and used foundation merge, sunk down Willard walls to hide the gap under the roof. Looks ok.
I wish you could have 3 allies in your camp at the same time. Stores or restaurants just feel so empty. Actually every camp kinda feels empty. Now i build one that spawns 2 npc's in the same location to make it feel a bit more alive.
No, they're all static objects. The stash boxes on there are usable if you want to access your own stuff, and some of the items, like the TV, can be turned on and off but that's it.
Love your builds, I've been mixing pieces of some of your builds into one, But my biggest issue with the CAMP is...budget... yes I know OG players have been calling out Bethesda on that but I just don't get it... i mean in a way I can see why they did it, limit the amount of objects rendering to avoid people (possibly on console) from getting low FPS. I heard the flatlands has one of the biggest budgets to build, but something off about building on an interior plane that looks like an exterior with static weather and all of that. Also the fact that there are barely any flat spots it grinds my bobble heads man.... but amazing job on the builds, can't wait for the next one!
Keep an eye out for the Halloween bundles. The boards and bats are from those sets. They tend to appear in the shop fairly often, so you should be able to pick them up.
There's a new trick using the cheese board display from the current season where using the merge glitch you can just make it look like any items on some furniture,
@austin62halo it certainly makes sense to me. A shop, a crafting space, great... But where are you going to live? Given the size of it, a separate structure is going to struggle to look like it belongs, squeezed into the camp space so that back room is kindo of ready made.
The structure is something of a blank slate with some thematic elements if that's what you mean. The prefabs usually work along those lines; an empty shell that you can build out and decorate to your own taste.
IMO Bethesda should change the name of the Atomic shop to the "Wasteland Wealth Exchange". I would respect the honesty.
This ☝️, I agree that'd be sweet

I've only recently been playing fallout 76 and watched a bunch of your builds but this is precisely the type of builds I'm looking for!!
Oh I'm new so I didn't know this was a prefab 😂

Oh, for display i love how the 5mm ammo looks, its a little green box. Ive put some in my bos base
Love it. I think the surfboards are meant to be from Atlantic City. Otherwise, I'm with you on questioning why they are included this Season.
Yeah, definitely more useful in Atlantic City than Appalachia!

@@DarthXionGames huh, well, interesting. And indeed fun decorations if nothing else! :)

This one’s awesome! Giving me ideas for my Helvetia shop
Thank you! 😊
WOOT!
Great for Ma June's Sundries! can the other players pick the stuff on the shelves?
No, they're all static objects. The stash boxes on there are usable if you want to access your own stuff, and some of the items, like the TV, can be turned on and off but that's it.
You can merge the shelf units at the corner to make a L shaped unit which also can act as a separation divider
You made this look really good. I was torn on getting this prefab.
I was a bit unsure too. I'm happy with how it came out, but making it into anything other than a pawn shop for a future build might be a challenge.
Awesome build, one of my favs you've done!
Thank you! 😁 I was on the fence with this one for a bit. Pretty satisfied with the results though.
You should build a tiki bar with the new season items.
A couple of people have suggested a beach type build recently. I might have to see what I can come up with. 🤔
Dude, this is dope af. Good job, brother.
Thank you! ,😎

I wanna do this but I have noooo of the metal bars for the windows and stuff :(

Okay Fs imma save this build then

So I gather. I didn't really need it for this one but I'm looking forward to having a play around with it soon.
@@DarthXionGames haha chess board....not cheese board haha oops..spell check but i think you got the gist of what i was saying.
😂 I did. It made me chuckle through! Personally I'd call that an autocorrect win rather than a fail. 😁
Love the weapon racks 👍🏻
Thank you!
I didn’t think you could put the junk fences inside
With room to spare as it turns out. 😎
Why did they change the weapon racks?
Awesome build
Thank you! 😁
Well done looks awesome❤
👍
Can u show how u do the merge so u can put stuff on the self it would make my base look more lived in
I've got a whole guide on it. The video should be linked on the little 'i' button in the top right corner. It's in my guides playlist too.
So if we build a shelf, we cant actually put anything on the shelf? (New player here)
You can get stuff to go onto the top level of the shelf. After that you'll need to glitch.
How do i get that fabric roof thingy over the door
It's an Atomic Shop item. I think they were called window awnings. It's a set of 4 different colours.
Using that room as a living space was the same idea I had.m
I think quite a few of us did! 😎
@@DarthXionGames it just seemed like a great idea lmao!

So if you buy this you just get empty space to build upon?
The structure is something of a blank slate with some thematic elements if that's what you mean. The prefabs usually work along those lines; an empty shell that you can build out and decorate to your own taste.
Oh ok, I wasn’t sure because I haven’t bought any yet. Thanks for the answer I’m gonna sub to you.
cool, but i am surprised you didn't put an assaultron ally in you're pawn shop for security reasons 😃😅
😂 I've not got that far down the season yet!
wait really, damn that surprising don't worry spank won't loot the place unless you're away from your camp 🤭
The amount of crookedness is pissing me off XD
The subtitles for “pawn” is funny. Not that kind of shop though!
😂 naturally! Context clues are a bit beyond the automated subtitles. 😂
I miss this game but all the fomo bs keeps me away from playing it again.
