My tips. I have a bank account that has 2 saving account. One is normal saving account which i limit myself to save $500 per month, and the other is monthly automated deduction of $50 per month. Per year i will save $6000+$600 = $6600. After 3 years of my adulthood job ive made $15200 of saving, with addition of my spare cash. Btw i live in decent appartment, decent job of $2000 per month and single living with parents. Soon im planing to open other account which has no ATM machine that made automatic deduction of my salary with interests. That will expend my saving in future and open small business maybe :).

bill cosby tell how you can invest if you have no money?
      1. You need to have money in order invest.
      2. In order to save money, you need to spend less than you earn. So review your expenditure.
3.While you saving money, you can educate yourself in what and how to invest and your aptitude for risk. Some people don't like to risk and save money in high interest accounts/funds above inflation which equals investing

bill cosby depends on how you save. If you invest your savings into the capital market as a leakage as most people do; then it will be reinjected into the economy causing the economy to remain balanced. But if you do not invest your saving into a bank then the leakage and injections into the ecomony will not be at equilibrium causing more money going out of the economy than in; this WILL cause the economy to contract which is negative. This is why it is best to invest your savings into a bank so the bank can re inject it through investments into the economy

I like the idea of not watching tv. But most importantly not filling your time with useless junk thats on tv. Id say of its something that you can use to better yourself than it'd be okay to watch. The only reason I would recommend cutting cable is when you are trying to cut things out of your budget to help save as much liquid cash as possible. When I teach budgeting and saving i teach building the 4 walls; the things that you absolutely need to make it. Food, home, utilities, and transportation. Everything after those are not really needed. Especially while trying to get out of debt!
