You can relocate the workcamps out into the wilderness and put temporary shelters by them. Then workers will be able to efficiently take stone/wood from far away places and the wagons will transport the resources back to town
Still awesome to watch even with the Performance Problems but i guess they will fix that soon . But If you still Wonder why things Take so Long until they get built of Materials get to a building Site ... You have to know that for a City as big as yours is already you would need at least 30 (If Not more) Laborers to get stuff moved around quickly . You can See If you have Not enough as soon as the Number beside the Laborers Turns orange . Hope that helps you .
I'm really enjoying learning this game along with you. One thing though, maybe it would be more economical to build separate smaller walled fortifications with watch towers and gates dotted around the place rather than one huge wall around your city?
The maps are bigger than you'd expect. And other resources are more common much further away from the initial area. AKA either little or no sand deposits in initial area? Much farther away you'll find sand deposits.
@19:54 I see five deposits of something ... I do wonder if they are coal ... but this one will not check ... he'd rather assume there is no coal ... facepalm ;) @22:47 So let me get this straight: you actually can see that placing a theatre there will get those 8 houses to 63% at most ... and yet somehow assume that this will be enough to "push them" to upgrade? I mean to most people 63 < 65, why are you having trouble seeing that?
Oh and i don't think you got the building that makes baskets until now ... If you get that your people will Take the baskets and are then able to carry more stuff around at once wich could also Speed Up Things .
Glad you've been playing this because I think this game's not for me -- I don't like finite quantities on critical resources, such as stone or clay. The only way I would accept it is if you could tell traders what to bring. Why make what traders have RNG? It's nonsensical. Also the performance is abysmal and your computer's probably three times faster than mine. Also even with all the wagons and builders the fact that jobs don't get done for real-time hours, such as theose dang roads, would annoy me to no end. Maybe in a few years after this game gets some patches.

Always buy stone from traders. Even when you don’t think you need it.
Still really loving this game! Town is growing nicely and getting stronger!

You can return your soldiers to the barracks and the window will stop popping. It's just a reminder.

I think you need to train more soldiers and build more healer huts since your population is increasing.
Predator sighted?! Get to the chopper!

Really hoping the devs are working on these performance issues when you move around. Otherwise Really enjoying the series.
