ClarEnzo's the most ideal couple in the Medici Line. Here, Lorenzo found strength in Clarice and made her an ally to all his affairs. Clarice was as headstrong as her grandmother-in-law, Contessina and Lorenzo recognized that. Though there is a sight of love between Cosimo and Contessina, Cosimo is a proud man not to admit his feelings, and Piero and Lucrecia's dynamics showed that though Piero is the head, she held the reins on him. Lorenzo and Clarice had the mutual respect, though he was a little wayward at first, he got his act together and prioritized Clarice and their family.
OMG! I loved their story so much, beautiful but also so bittersweet. The love between them grown in time becoming each time more genuine and stronger, even in the darkest time. Lorenzo found in Clarice more than a wife, a friend, an ally, someone he can trusted blindly and his warm safe place to stay, when he was in pain or depressed. Despite the pain she got because of him and this family, she's been loyal to him, and helped him until the very end. This is why Clarice and Lorenzo had a bigger impact on me than Cosimo and Contessina, that i loved anyway, but them, much more because i find their relationship more complete, and i really wish they had more time. Very beautiful video. ❤🤧
I agree with all of this! Cosimo and Contessina had a similar dynamic (which I also loved very much) but they didn’t have time in that one season to show much more than the pain and heartbreak. With Lorenzo and Clarice, they had two seasons to establish that dynamic and it was so interesting to see... even though I sometimes wanted to slap Lorenzo for hurting her all the time. You’re completely right when you call their story bittersweet... that’s exactly what it is.

They were probably no different than bankers, today like the Rothschilds who are responsible for the deaths of over 100 million people with their staged world wars and economic collapses. Thats Hollywood for you.. they like to make movies about evil men and put them in the light of Saints and lovable men when the men in their movies in real life were far from these depictions. This series was touching but I constantly told myself while watching it that this family was probably hated by many. As Jesus said, "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." To be wealthy while your brethren live in poverty speaks volumes about a person.
Too bad historically it was a political marriage and he had like 100 mistresses lol. I'm sure he cared for his wife but it was a different world back then.
So sad to think that she died at 38 years old, and in fact alone (without him by her side), Lorenzo was not in Florence as it was displayed on this series.
Lorenzo was captivated by Carissa at first site not knowing she would be his wife. I feel like what Carissa said to his mistress it was just a lustful immature relationship with no future. Cariisa was strong. I appreciate that she demanded respect. If he didn't love her he would have continued to cheat, but because she said she wouldn't open her heart nor share her husband he ended his affair and changed his focus to what was most important even through temptations. Power is tempting but Love and Family loyalty prevailed. I loved how they supported each other and he trusted her completely. She was pure and a little insecure about his love for her but he did love her. He showed that by his expression of always asking where she was when he arrived home from the very beginning of their relationship to the end.

Clarice was devoted to Lorenzo, she was clearly a "giver", a generous wife, always thinking about his needs and available to help him & support him. She was very strong but couldn't even imagine a future without him. While Lorenzo was a "taker", even in her last breath he asks her not to leave him, so selfish of him. I think it's very revealing when Lorenzo tells his sister "Clarice would have done whatever I decided" and her sister asks him to focus on what she would have thought. I needed Lorenzo to tell & show her how much she meant for him for the last time :(

Sanri Kharbuli I think medici really did a great job with the women of this show. First Contessina in season one who I absolutely adored and then Clarice in the next two season. They really did something right there! And yes, Lorenzo loved her so much in the end, but I think his hunger for power was too overwhelming in the end and became a bit more important than his family unfortunately.

Ah, I personally always love shows and movies that make me feel something, whether I’m bawling my eyes out or feeling lovely positive emotions. And I think some shows are worth to watch even if they make you kind of sad. In this case, I’m trying to focus on the positive things: Lorenzo and Clarice loved each other for a long time and many years together. And they both didn’t get old, as people didn’t used to back then. So yes, I would say. Get your tissues ready and watch this amazing show!

Ok that was amazing! Have I already heard season 3 in English? OMG :D I am so happy, but i will probably wait a little bit. I don't know I find Medici a little bit hard to undestand in english. Now I am watching season 2 again just because I want to remind it all. I saw episode Mass multiple times, i just love it. Now I saw character of Clarice in different way. She was so religius, but she went to The city where people didn't like her and probably felt like a stranger in new Renesaince world. I felt bad for her after season 2 because her life wasnt easy. I am si excited about this new Lorenzo, Daniel stole my heart immediatly. I hope that season 3 will show something more about relationship of these two, because I didn't fell for this couple after season 2 (I also read a lot of articles whcih referend about their marriage based on more respect) Probably my most favourites are Guglielmo and Bianca, but they are so underated! Also I don't see Guglielmo in any videos from season 3, is he there? This show gave me so much love for Florence, i plan to visit it in 2020! :) Definitely do a more videos about Medici cause this was briliant :)

Ya ik I'm not sure how either, but I think that she had deteriorating health conditions just like Lorenzo in Season 3 that we just didn't see as much. The reveal that Lorenzo was guilty of killing Tommaso I think also just sent her over the edge.

I get that clarice made her entire life a sacrifice but Lorenzo also did a lot. When he was to be married he loved lucrezia and no matter how magnificent clarice was it isn't easy for someone to leave the person they loved. He was a good leader and was a just person. Besides he had a family, a bank, and an entire city to think about adding more and more enemies to his list everyday.
He sacrificed by not marrying an already married woman 😂😂. He chose to marry Clarice and convinced her not to become a nun for her family's support. Where the fuck is the sacrifice here?

Yeah he was ill himself at the time
he was also very sick at the time, and knew he didn’t have much time. so he had to take care of things and her death was unexpected

Ok that was amazing! Have I already heard season 3 in English? OMG :D I am so happy, but i will probably wait a little bit. I don't know I find Medici a little bit hard to undestand in english. Now I am watching season 2 again just because I want to remind it all. I saw episode Mass multiple times, i just love it. Now I saw character of Clarice in different way. She was so religius, but she went to The city where people didn't like her and probably felt like a stranger in new Renesaince world. I felt bad for her after season 2 because her life wasnt easy. I am si excited about this new Lorenzo, Daniel stole my heart immediatly. I hope that season 3 will show something more about relationship of these two, because I didn't fell for this couple after season 2 (I also read a lot of articles whcih referend about their marriage based on more respect) Probably my most favourites are Guglielmo and Bianca, but they are so underated! Also I don't see Guglielmo in any videos from season 3, is he there? This show gave me so much love for Florence, i plan to visit it in 2020! :) Definitely do a more videos about Medici cause this was briliant :)

Sanri Kharbuli I checked it and real Guglielmo died in 1516, so he was just exiled and didnt make an appearence.

Season 3 just came out in December in Italy. So might take a while to be out on Netflix. Heard it could be on Netflix some time this January. 🤞

Ya ik I'm not sure how either, but I think that she had deteriorating health conditions just like Lorenzo in Season 3 that we just didn't see as much. The reveal that Lorenzo was guilty of killing Tommaso I think also just sent her over the edge.
The way the show portrayed it she died because she was extremely grief stricken by the kind of man her husband had become how far gone he was and how worthless she felf

I get that clarice made her entire life a sacrifice but Lorenzo also did a lot.
When he was to be married he loved lucrezia and no matter how magnificent clarice was it isn't easy for someone to leave the person they loved. He was a good leader and was a just person. Besides he had a family, a bank, and an entire city to think about adding more and more enemies to his list everyday.
He sacrificed by not marrying an already married woman 😂😂. He chose to marry Clarice and convinced her not to become a nun for her family's support. Where the fuck is the sacrifice here?
