There was a Realm of the Underworld table at a con that I attended last year. The Zolo guy was super cool and gave me some trading cards for each of the characters, one of which was for another barbarian figure called Kry-Sis (second-wave figure?). Oh and that skull helmet is called the Helmet of Hades and, according to the trading cards, is a sought after "lost artifact" that allows its wearer to control the Archfiend army. Some cool mythology that Zoloworld has created for these figures.
Dan I think that brown cape is the lion's mane Hercules killed with his bare hands. Its hide was invulnerable to spears, swords, & arrows and terrorized people so Hercules broke its neck. This was one of his 12 Labors.
well historically speaking a lot of greeks had darker skin tones than greeks today. so his skin tone could be accurate but its a cool figure either way.
What about the "Mystery Figure"? Is it a short pack, or random, or do you have to build it by getting the others? Do you not have that one yet, cause I'd love to see it. Great vid as always PixelD, thanks!
At least he said the truth about how affordable they are... People is buying some customs and re-molded toys for about 100$ with no more than a bag for its packaging... this is factory made, a lot of work was invested here and old molds were used to bring to life the retro style we all love, knock-off? Yes, but fan wallet friendly also. Try to find something similar for less than 25$...
Are you unable to make a vintage MOTU comparison for legal reasons? 'Cause everyone's thinking it. Also, shouldn't the main villain for this line be Hades? Not that I'm complaining.
Ummm affordable? at $23.95 a piece plus shipping it's a bit much. I do like these and they remind of my of the Warlord figures I had as a kid, but for what you get, way overpriced.
want them all!
I really want these. So cool.
Mike has done an awesome job with these. They came out great!
I love these reviews the most! Thanks
the skeleton's sword is from a King Arthur and the Knights of Justice Figure.
The shields seem familiar too...

Whoa, Greek Myth action figures in the same style as the 80s MOTU. :D
Love these! They remind me of my warlord figs i had as a kid. Gonna buy when i have some extra loot. Thanks for the review.
Cool looking figures, certainly tempting, would love a toon/comic to go with them
these somehow seem cooler than my old stash of motu figures I found.
hercules sword is from the gargoyles toy line.
Awesome figures!

Hercules and Acromancer = He-Man and Skeletor LOL
Huh... Almost the grind house of action figures! Dan for President!
did Pixel Dan really say that the classic 1980s fantasy action figures were "done in that 5 and three-quarter inch scale"? seriously?
Remco Conan, again...
How come I didn't know about this!?!! 😱

It would have been cool if the skeleton warriors were able to glow in the dark.
Why is Hercules African?
btw, the fur Hercules is wearing would probably be from the Nemean Lion.
Very níce!!
actually yeah they do with more interracial breading over time people get darker or lighter
hercules is not black look it up no offense and still im first woop woop

People dont really get lighter over time
how the fuck do these cost $23 when we used to get the exact same crap at the dollar store.
that shield is from a spawn crypt figure.
Hercules stole the sword from Power wing Goliath and pimped it gold : (
Body may be from He-man and the head from 12" figure.
looks like grizzlor with a bad shave. lol
The truth! :) seems they recycled the shapes of other franchises XD!
Haha damn I was just gonna post this
