- ( www.TFLcar.com ) What do you call a Hyundai Azera with a KIA badge? The answer is the 2014 KIA Cadenza. The 2014 KIA Cadenza is KIA's take on the entry level luxury Azera. Powering the Cadenza is a 3.3L direct-injection V6 that produces 293 horsepower and 255 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission that also comes with a Sportmatic manual. Hyundai has a plant in Alabama and has been operational since 2005 making a hand full of both companies' engines. The same plants also manufactures the Hyundai Sonata.

True. I love the 10 year 100 thousand mile bumper to bumper warranty. But I still think MB has the best crash technology of any car company. If every month you put some of the money aside that WOULD be going to a payment, you should be ready for a large repair bill when it comes along.
I have noticed the same silhouette of 5 series from profile view, but we cannot patented look of cars since there are many car's models on streets than ever before. And most of them are similar in one or more aspects.
They should have always made KIA the more premium brand and Hyundai the Eco Brand. The styling and sportier character of KIA makes it feel more premium

This has been available in Korea for quite some time.
The K9/Quoris has yet to hit US market, so the K7/Cadenza is top of their line.
It looks like Kia just slapped the whole production together the night before.
Beautiful car... I think they would have really nailed it if they gave it smoked wheels vs. the polished chrome.
I own a new 2013 Santa Fe Sport 2.0T and I luv it, the looks are great and so is the build quality.....that said this Cadenza sure does look like a five series from the side profile aswell as the front..still I bet its a great car, just sayin...

Seems like everyone is emulating the Aston Martin esque grille these days. Too bad Ford can't claim their Fusion is unique for long. It's a shame, although this KIA is pretty nice looking and has presence for a flagship vehicle

its ok..../ I like it but it might just be me or is the Kia K9 better or is this the US variant of that car ( we in the US get a lesser version of other cars I herd this was do to our safety standards and emission standards )?
Does the Cadenza share platform with the Hyundai Azera or Genesis sedan? I'm assuming the Azera since it's has the same 3.3L V6.

I like the new design, there are spec and elements copied. But I guess most car manufacturers would have their own version of such to remain competitive. I just hope KIA during that presentation could have spent a bit more time/effort/performance to wow its audience. I am not sure media was impressed with it. The car, yes a head turner.

All of you can say what you want about us copying this vehicle brand or looking exactly like another car brand. The fact remains that we are the hottest selling brand in America and will remain to be with all our great prices and safety features. Stay tuned b/c we aren't finished yet.

I may be mistaken. But I think Ford used to own Aston Martin. And probably still have some of their design team left over involved maybe.It's possible.
It looks nice no doubt, but to me it kinda looks like a lowered more refined Ford Taurus from the front...the back is unique
$30,000 is the price of the Kia Optima Ex, this is most expensive than the Optima.
This car is a step below the K9. The K9 should be introduced to the U.S. Market

The h8ters are the mercedes and Beamer lovers.... They don't realize this car company has come a long way. They really improved a lot of stuff. Not just design but quality as well.. They aren't shitty cars anymore. If they were they wouldn't be selling as much as they are right now. Look at Honda. When they first came out in the US they were shitty cars as well... But look now everybody loves them. Hyundai and Kia are still pretty new. I will give it another 10 years before ppl realize

Nice car, but a 6 speed auto, old school transmission, 8 speed is the new age, the grill is soso, but overall it is better looking than the optima.

but there not, its been 3 years when the designer of kia AKA peter Shreyer also a designer of audi and volkswagon, decided to come up with a tiger nose grille. it looks like a bmw grille but the grill of a bmw does not represent a tiger nose. But nope bmw is not suing kia.

I can't help but laugh at your last sentence, from what I understand (correct me if in wrong) Aston Martin wouldn't exist if it wasn't for ford. AM was going to shit and ford bought them out way back when. So if it wasn't for ford, that "lineage and pedrigree wouldn't even exist anymore.
