Absolute insanity, I can't tell if I'm reading this right or not (I think I am), and this is insane. Can't even come up with the words other than thank you. I'm in shock
For those new to bounce, hit monkey and Sage are super key for it. You can play stuff like bishop or werewolf (which actually is sometimes better than HM or Sage), but Sage and HM together are your win conditions. Using Agent Venom doesnt mean you need to find a way to shove iron man into your deck, turn 5 is a super key turn for bounce where its your last chance to get that bounce. Playing iron man leaves your vulnerable to killmomger as you cant throw priority by bouncing on turn 5. I also think if you play sage and toxin on a lane that already has cards, or even nico, rocket and beast will result in more power than iron man. You have to be really careful about spreading power as bounce is easy to stack power super high in one lane (youll be surprised but its true). Theres a lot of maths involved in bounce which not everyone can be assed to do, so you may missplay some cards by not expecting their final power output, it happens and its normal for new players to bounce. For those that want to run werewolf, you're diving into the deepend and I reccomend it. It does make spreading power significantly harder due to bounce being primarily on reveal and you can end up having wolf jump to an already stacked lane (again, sounds easy to avoid, but it happens a lot for new players), thats why its beneficial to save a one cost like hood, nico, iceman, pig to get your 20 power wolf to where you need it while playing your hit monkey/Sage first so you know thats going to be alone. I wish everyone the best of luck playing bounce if you arent familiar with it, its a super fun archeotype that can have a load of versatility with the cards you pick for it. Have fun and enjoy bouncing!
@Mydogatemycomment Where am I saying spend money? The cards I mentioned have been out for months, easily attainable for free to play players. You don't have to use Agent Venom either, throw Bast in if you don't have him and want a substitute. I'd say a solid free to play deck (so excluding cards that have come out this month) is: Hood Hawkeye Rocket Nico Iceman/Korg/Spider ham Collector/Black Swan Falcon Bishop Hit monkey/werewolf Sage/the other one that gets power that's 3-1 ... can't remember her name Beast Iron man if you don't have toxin That's a solid 12 off the top of my head for Bounce. A key part of bounce is have 3 scalers, in this case I listed 4 in collector, Bishop, sage, hit monkey, so feel free to throw other cards you like in. The problem with 4 scalers is 1/3 of your deck are power generators and rely on 2/3 of your deck to get them that power, so you can get less consistency with drawing the 1 drops you need, considering in the 2/3s there's also beast, Iron man/Toxin and Falcon so it's even less. I try to have 3 scalers for each lane as a general rule, but obviously being able to bounce means you can decide on turn 6 how you want your board to look as a whole.

Iceman ceiling is waaaay lower than other cards such as rocket which can end up in 10+ power. You also play to lose priority in the last turn so iceman is bad in turn6
iceman's effect is one-sided. you don't know how much he affected the gameplay so it doesn't have that feedback. whenever I am against Iceman, most times i am clenching my fist, but I can never know if my opponent did the same when I played iceman. so spiderman ham feels a lot better to use. but bounce doesn't use spiderham and there are other 1 drops that can easily occupy iceman's slot.
i wish there was a effect to see when they play the iced cards out to know ah this card was hit rn i am in no iceman camp just because i can't easily grasp how much he carried while others tend to at least have a visible effect that satifies
Toxin seems cool but honestly I'm not super encouraged to play bounce right now lacking cards such as Black Swan and Agent Venom, the meta is at a point where if you don't have one of those cards don't even bother trying playing bounce because you'll be destroyed in mirror matches.
Agent venom will 100% get nerfed after the season pass is over, it's just a question of how long after and how many cards catch strays before they touch agent venom directly
He will probably be a 2/3 that makes everything 3 power. 2/4 has always been super premium, especially since he has a positive ability. Plus some synergy with Bast setting everything to 3 power as well.
