Can I leave in my factory insulated vinyl floor mat and just put the Legend flooring on top of that? I have a 2019 dual sliding door HR 148: WB ext long Transit.
This video is for a Transit Connect, not a full size Transit. While it is possible to install flooring over the factory floor, most do not. You could run into issues with multi-piece floors (like the 148 EXT Transit) buckling as well as conflicts with partitions and attaching equipment to the floor.
@upfitsupply Thanks. I'll figure it out eventually. I got a few sizes on order. But they had two different thread types. 1.5 and 1.25. My floor didn't have any of the original bolts in it to check against. I got the van used.
How thick is this flooring?
About 1/2” thick.

Do you know what size/thread the bolts are?
I'm not 100% sure, but typically they are M8

Time to go back and edit the video so people don't start needlessly taking apart the trim pieces. Or am I missing something?
You need to remove the trim to remove the factory floor.
@@upfitsupply Ah, got it. Thanks.
