Katie should have formally joined the LeBatard's crew at ESPN. Katie's target audience at ESPN was LeBatard fans. Dan would have given her the leash to succeed or fail. I'd love to see a Billy Gil v Katie Nolan show. Billy would drive Katie crazy. It would be magic.
Don’t know if Dan had that power when skipper left. Don’t think they loved having any “talent” without the suits being in Miami compared to having that in bristol/ny/la.

Katie and Soder are a great couple and I feel like a sports show with those 2 would actually be pretty good
I've always enjoyed Katie Nolan's stuff when I've gotten to see it. I always felt like she was the "Talk Soup" for sports, which is something she's really good at.
I CRAVE content from Katie and have ever since ESPN demolished her podcast on a whim. I was once the voicemail for a pod episode and it was so fun. Someone out there has to know she can produce excellent content for us to enjoy!

One of the most underrated personalities in sports media. I've always appreciated the realness of Katie. Imagine her on McAfee, I think that marriage would be a fun watch.
Always liked Katie Nolan. ESPN really underutilized her.
I think it wasn’t a good fit for both sides. ESPN didn’t know go to fit her personality in their shows. I mean they only gave her an ESPN+ show and I don’t think she is a person for ATH or PTI despite the fact I think she did on both of those shows.
I think her and Bomani were dare I say shunned by ESPN in their talents once Skipper left.

Never understood why they didn't just give Garbage Time a regular slot on the main ESPN channel.
Ya she was one of my favorite ESPN people. I think it's because I got to see her with the lebatard crew and she was able to be herself

My favorite part of that interview was when Katie talked about when Dan tried to recruit her to Meadowlark

Not even gonna lie. I started watching Garbage Time just to look at her like a creep, but the show was actually good. She makes good content and was a welcomed change of pace from the typical sports shows. Wish she had her own show again.

ESPN has built quite the army of former employees they’ve screwed over.
It seems ESPN effectively paid her to not be on FOX.
Take the money, and stop her building competition on a different network.
They were pushing women at the time. And she was one of the biggest women stars. But those idiots didn't know how to use her.
Katie is one of those people that was ahead of her time. Things have been different if she just quitting ESPN and did her own TH-cam thing. I don't know if she would have made the same amount of money though as monetization wasn't the same way.

Honestly surprised Katie Nolan wasn’t a formal LeBatard AF member. I saw her in the same boat as Amin, as soon as the show left ESPN I knew Amin was following them wherever they went. I still see her that way.

Hey Peter, this isn’t being posted like it’s new. Sorry for any confusion but it’s common to repurpose clips from the video at different times. Katie talking about what she experienced at ESPN is very similar to the things in the news this week about the network.
Understand clips being repurposed, but this did pop up as a recommendation and was titled as if it were new content or a new interview. I feel tricked but then again I also watched the clip again, which I guess...well played?
