Thank you very much for the detailed guide.👍 Is there any way to remove the package data from a rapidstart package? I imported it into a different company but needed just the table structure. Not the data. Now I am removing all the package data manually table per table.
Dear Marlene. I just write you to say "Thank you for you excelent video that has been useful". I am Javier From Argentina. I´m a new MD365-BC funtional consultant and I would like to ask you some about configuration of a company. Can I migrate tables about standar set up from one company to a new company by configuration package in RapidStar format? . I ask you this question because it is my idea in order to configurate it easyly but, i have douth. Cordial greating.
In Rapid Start Packages, I do typically have a few packages. One is usually a ‘Standard ‘ package of tables that will not change. This is the first package I apply in a new company. This package would have my setup tables, payment terms, etc (supporting tables for Master tables). Then I may have a ‘Localization’ package and a ‘Master’ Package. The Master Package would include tables I would need to pull from the customer's data, like Customers, Vendors, items, etc. Items can be more complicated if they are using Stock Keeping Units and/or BOM or Routings. So the answer is definitely yes. I hope this is helpful for Javier.
