    I had the same problem a month ago on the same car. This is heat related problem with these sensors. I had both signals connected to my verus and than I closed my hood. Signal on bank one was gone in 5 min. Good work my friend. Cheers

      Good to see another video here. Ramon, that's a great little trick my friend to close the hood and see if the additional heat causes these intermittent issues to reappear, I'll have to remember it next time I'm in a similar situation.

    2006 Nissan Pathfinder same problem. Nissan has a recall for this problem and it calls for ECM relay replacement. I replaced the bank 1 camshaft sensor and it is still stalling out. Did some research and found the recall. I replaced the ECM relay and it fix the problem and it's been 9 months now with no problem.

      Looks like camshaft sensor is getting power from ECM relay which is why it sets a code for camshaft sensor. I just wasted my money replacing the sensor when the problem was the ECM relay. Mileage: 177k now.

    I was just wondering if you ohmed out that cam sensor could that tell if the sensor was bad? Great video thanks.

    My 2008 pathfinder keeps shutting off while driving or just parked. Changed sensors, that didn’t work. Also changed fuel pump. Code is saying O2 sensor. Will that cause this problem?

    2005 nissan frontier. Cranks good. Runs good. Then every so often it loses power down to idle. Then all the dash info goes out no readings. Lights etc dont work. Put it always powers back up from ten seconds to one minute to normal. Any ideas

    If you've fixed all the sensors and ignition parts and the issue still persists then its a timing belt and sprocket kit. Just fixed my in laws which took 6 months to really fix. Who would ever think a stretched timing chain can cause stalling with codes P0300 and P0306. Drives like a dream too other than the stalling issue but all good now

      it can be, but you need to diagnose the car so I can help you better, is there any check engine light on while driving? Do you have any codes like the one I show on this video?

    Does this apply to a 11/02 v6 nissan pathfinder? Mine is cutting out at low revs, just had major work done by a Magic Spanner Mobile Mechanic. Caused problems that are now making the car a lemon

    • @MaicSalazarDiagnostics

      Jason Kiesling no, your engine is different! Your uses distribuidor, which can be your problem. But you need to properly diagnose it.

    My 2008 cuts off while driving, sometimes it starts up in neutral and sometimes I have to wait a few min for it to start. I hear a bubbling noise then my truck bump bump like it wants to cut off. I smell transmission or radiator fluid( don’t know the difference) , white smoke coming out of hood and red fluid on the ground dripping. I took my truck to a mechanic and he said he replaced the spark plugs and the cam shaft and put more transmission fluid in it. I know he lied to me because my truck is worse since he “fix” it.

    • @MaicSalazarDiagnostics
      @MaicSalazarDiagnostics  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Abike Sebi I’ll get a second opinion or estimate from another reliable shop. Pathfinders have a problem with transmission cooler that can potentially damage the transmission. Not sure if that is the problem you have. Take it to a good mechanic ASAP!!

      LOL. Sorry so long to reply but I am scared. I have 05 pathfinder with the same problem. I changed both crack and cam sensors 3 times. Now thinking about the fuel pump. When I reach 2000rpm it sputters but does correct its self sometimes. I refuse to give up on my truck. Just turned 219,000 miles. Love it

    Thank you for your video, I have a08 path. And the same engine of this car in video I noticed in your live data is (H2O2 Mntr) is lean , what does it means? I read the same data in my car ! I have a problem with my car I felt loosing power some time while driving I think the cataliytic converter is clogged, I hope you can help me how to read the live data to diagnose that, and you should know I living in Iraq and the fuel is very very very bad in the last time I noticed high advanced and all the cars hear have advanced issue but not mine because this engine is really big , its weird this engine advanced :(

      1. Check for exhaust leaks very carefully, have someone try blocking the exhaust for a short time while listening for an exhaust leak. Use a smoke machine up the tailpipe and check for exhaust leaks.
      2. Check for intake leaks. Use a smoke machine if available.
      3. Check scan data for long term and short term fuel trims on bank 1 and bank 2 and see if the engine is rich or lean. Look for 0% plus or minus 10% in global to be ok. Nissan displays fuel trims in alpha percent. 100 alpha is the same as 0% fuel trims, so 90% to 110% alpha would be considered to be ok.
      4. Backprobe and check the A/F ratio sensor voltages. The White/Red wire is battery voltage supply to the A/F ratio sensor heater. The Green wire is the ground for the A/F ratio sensor heater and should be a 0-12 volt square wave signal with the engine running (a voltmeter taking an average of the pulsed ground signal should read around 5.0 volts). The Brown wire should read approximately 3.1 volts. The Orange wire should read approximately 2.6 volts. The Light Green wire should read approximately 2.3 volts. The Pink wire should read approximately 2.3 volts.
      5. Can swap bank 1 and bank 2 A/F ratio sensors around and see if the code goes to bank 2.
      6. Replace the bank 1 A/F ratio sensor as necessary

    The signal interference is likely from coils firing if look at signal zoomed in appears like a coil. If you use the sensor ground instead of battery or block it will filter out much cleaner. Also, using a heat gun on sensors will cause an open in them when intermittent failures happen. Speeds up capture greatly for heat soak.

    I just google "my Nissan 2018 Pathfinder's engine stopped while driving it and I had to coast to a stop", and found this link on TH-cam. After coming to a stop on the side of the road, I tried several times to re-start my vehicle. After several attempts, I thought that I was going to have to call for a tow, and on the last attempt, it started, and I drove home. I checked, and there were no warning lights or signals on my dashboard after this happened. Ah, and this isn't just a problem that happens when it's hot, it just happened to me, and it's early February, Winter in Colorado! I immediately called my local Nissan dealer and made an appointment to have it looked at. I have ALWAYS run premium fuel through my vehicle (getting it either at Costco or Shell), so, the gas is NOT the problem! Has anyone else actually found out what they exact problem is? If so, please post. I'll post another message after my local dealership takes a look at it, this coming Monday morning ...

    My 05 pathfinder jus died on the road today too.. jus out of the blue stopped in the middle of driving.. lights on the dash came on and steering wheel got hard.. could this be related to sparks at all? I been driving with a code and got it checked up at local pep boys and the code was because of an 02 sensor.. so I'm kinda confused.. I'm having a hard time starting the car too

    • @MaicSalazarDiagnostics
      @MaicSalazarDiagnostics  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      1Hit Wonder not spark plugs. A misfire would be very noticeable and to stall an engine more than one cylinder. Do you remember the code number?

    • @paoweezysvlogs3278
      @paoweezysvlogs3278 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maic Salazar Diagnostics the code was p1278

    • @MaicSalazarDiagnostics
      @MaicSalazarDiagnostics  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      1Hit Wonder yes that is for the air fuel ratio sensor. I don’t think that would cause a stall issue. Did the car start after a while or is a no start now?

    • @paoweezysvlogs3278
      @paoweezysvlogs3278 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maic Salazar Diagnostics it starts but it has a hard time starting up.. it takes a couple turns before it starts

    • @MaicSalazarDiagnostics
      @MaicSalazarDiagnostics  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      1Hit Wonder it is hard to say for sure, but I will check the fuel pressure and the back pressure on the exhaust. You might have a broken catalytic causing a hard to start. Both would give the same symptoms. Hard to start and no power, it can cause a stall start issue. If you have a scanner try to check the fuel trims at idle and at 3000 rpms and let me know.
