I saw a blade and punisher crossover and it starts with blade watching vampire from a roof…punisher walks to the toof and points a gun to blade head but blade stood un phased because “he smelled him when he stepped onto the block” he then got shot in the back by punisher and stood up unprovoked to continue to fight vampires…he fought both dracula and spiderman at the same time…and he was holding back so much he told an infected spiderman he didn’t want to hurt him too badly so he shot his knees out to give spiderman time to get the virus out naturally from healing. Blade is able to stand with an vampire enhanced spiderman and treat him like light work .
I still deeply love that when we talk about Blade, Wesley Snipes is so closely connected. Even when the MCU Blade comes out, Wesley will still be as connected to the character.
MCU should have casted MJW for Blade, as he, like Wesley Snipes, is a martial artist. Mahershala Ali has a black belt in Brazilian Jiujitsu, but that's like 100% grappling. I hope it's enough to adapt a melee combat style.

I would love to see Wesley Snipes reprise the role as Blade, while introducing Mahershala Ali as Blade's son. They could have him as Blade and the Dr. Karen for the first movie. That would make sense. Since at the time he thought Whistler was dead, and she helped him, you could see Blade finding comfort in her arms. They parted ways before she knew she was pregnant. Later after the event of the third movie the sun entered into adolescence and began showing vampire ways. So she sought out Blade to help her raise him. Because she knew he would know how to best handle the situation. Blade taught him, and trained in in Martial Arts. They can have Ali take over the role completely after the second into the third movie. This would pay proper respect and homage to Wesley Snipes for bringing us live action in Blade.

Dr Strange/Brother Voodoo could collaborate with a super-genius like Reed Richards, Tony Stark, Bruce Banner, etc to design a watch that helps Blade monitor his remaining DRACULA-Level Vampire shift-time. Essentially making Blade a Dampir with limited time DRACULA-Level Vampire abilities per nite) Imagine: Blade using FOG-Shift to enter a room through a keyhole (10-15 seconds), turn into WOLF & DAMPIR Shift to plow thru Zombie-Guards/lesser Vampires (20-25 min.), turn BAT-Shift to fly around seeking his main target (10-12 min.), then checking to see he has less than 20 minutes of Shift Power left.
