Is the Sci-Ti O anywhere near the original STX Sci-Ti Pro? I absolutely loved the weight to strength ratio with that shaft. It is easily my favorite shaft of all time. If the Sci-Ti O isn't close to it what shaft on the market would you say is the closest to it?
Oh boy that's a throwback...for some reason I feel like it was in the 160 gram range? I used those in college and believe they were a smidge lighter than the O, but the O will be as close as you get to that balance and will be a smidge stronger. Would definitely go for it (and they were crazy expensive if I remember correctly haha).
@@mainelymesh Yea they were! It was like $185 when they first came out, but I still have mine to this day with no dents or scratches... just the decals wore off almost completely!
Depending on how large you're talking, Jimalax is still the move. Big fan of their white 500 yd spools. Every once and a while the smaller spools are older stock that don't have as tightly woven of a sheath, but the 500 yd spools should be golden.
I love the x+ and the surgeon 900 it’s my favorite attack settup
Hope you still had a good couple of days despite being away from the fam, happy new year man🙌
As a former goalie i used the s shape which was on my shield sc shaft because it feels great while saving
What’s the best one out of the bunch for a offensive middie that likes to shoot and move the ball but doesn’t want to break a shaft?
I would probably go with the O to play it safe.
We need an r+
Would you recommend X+ for faceoff?
If you're going for strength, the X+ is by far the strongest of the lineup. Grip is solid too.

@@mainelymesh pretty sure it was 160-165ish
What side wall string do you recommend that can be bought in a large spool?

@@mainelymesh just yes
I put a slight bend in my x+ in the first game. I should’ve spent $10 more for a heavy carbon one.
Honestly once you get strong enough, I think you just gotta commit to carbon fiber. Bends are the worst.
@@mainelymesh it’s what I get for trying to be financially responsible.
3.0 maybee ;)
debeer 803 from the 2000s for box mines still kicking
The box one or the regular??
@@mainelymesh box im sure it is, says titanium enhanced in orange and carolina blue letters
@@klassky17kingklassky81 I'm pretty sure the box version had a different label. Pretty baller that that shaft has lasted so long. It's a classic!
@@mainelymesh ill send yah a pic on some social media, you got insta
