    Thank you so much! I was helping my daughter move-in and while she went outside to get things I had to loft the bed higher solo. Thank God for her dresser (my 2nd set of hands) because it took forever for her to return.

    My college doesn’t have beds that go this high, so they’re 5 feet off the ground without a built in ladder. I’m 6’ 3” but still can’t do it efficiently, so this video was a lifesaver

    This is assuming the dorm room has the space to flip the furniture on its side

      I have worked in every building doing this. There are some rooms that are harder to flip the bed such as WAJ or EAJ, but with patience and time, you can get it done.

      @@elysiabudu5639 well, I'm on a different campus entirely but Greenville University uses the same beds 😂 there's just not always room to lay them down when there's another bed and two desks in the room😂 plus any other furniture you have

      @@browntr95 In those rooms, we usually pull out at least 1 desk to get everything to flip safely and drag it in when we're done. It took us a few tries to get that figured out.

      @@elysiabudu5639 thats fair, its just difficult to maneuver everything to a spot where you can get it out the door and then back in when the hallway is tiny and the room is a double and only 10x17.

    Where do you put the thing that you took off

      You just have to leave the other pieces in the room I suggest leaving them under the bed or behind the bedpost

      Elysia Budu what if your bed isn’t tall it’s down where do you find them and can you paint it

    • @elysiabudu5856
      @elysiabudu5856 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jazmine Ochoa if it’s not tall/lofted and you want to make it taller you just have to add the pieces back together. The pieces should be in your room. If they aren’t you can speak with your RA about getting the pieces or you can put in a request through HokieServ. cs.hokieserv.vt.edu/Sec/CustReq.aspx You can not paint the pieces since they belong to VT.
