Today's vlog is a market vlog for one of my favorite events of the year!! It was a great market overall even though I had to deal with the aftermath of the tent accident of 2024 lol and the hottest day that has ever existed. Thanks again to Quictent for sending me their new tent, I will do a better job judging it at my next event!

Omg how rude!!! He prob just didn’t want to help the competition 🤬 jokes on them! Side note, I would look into getting a little fan for the canopy! I would draw people in for sure! 😂
He wasn't my competition, we aren't even in the same league lol 🙅♀️ I've seen some people with fans kind of like my ryobi where they've put it on the roof of their canopy but my tent gets pretty tall I don't know if we would feel the effects lol

As someone who vends at milk mart I’m so sad that someone acted like that. It’s community not competition. We should always help the other vendors if you can.

Outdoor markets in the heat can be tough. Congrats on your sales. Glad you didn’t suffer heat stroke.
This was definitely the hottest I've ever been, even when I was doing markets in July last year it was never close to feeling like this lol. Thank you so much I'm glad I didn't either, it felt like I was close though!

I do markets in CT and now bring gatorade or some type of electrolyte drink since our summers have become pretty hot over the last few years. I'd recommend you do that in the future. Also so sorry about the experience with the neighbor. I hope you never have an experience like that again.
I usually bring a few drinks and snacks but was super dumb and didn't bring my cooler this time. It's crazy how much hotter it felt here than any other market! I've definitely been hot at a market but I've never felt that kind of body pain associated with it lol! I'll definitely know to bring it next time though thank you! I hope your summer markets are super successful and aren't nearly as hot as this ever!!
I got my bag today and it’s is the CUTEST thing. Makes me so happy every time I look at it. So excited to use it for my markets. Can’t wait to see what you think of that tent because I’m just about ready to buy my first one

I’m worried about theJune 29th Music fest🎉 event at Jax Beach cause it’s going to be veryyyy long HOT and we have to be fully setup by 10:30 am and break down is 10:30 pm. Hopefully there will be some sea breeze that day. I did pay $$$ extra for a prime spot with electricity. Are you coming up to do that event?
That is an extremely long day!!! Definitely the beach breeze should help cool you all down. I'll be at Markets for Makers that day so I will be in Jacksonville just not at the beach lol
You need some rechargeable clip on fans.. let them blow on you.. setting up on asphalt raises the temp by 50 degrees.. it was probably 150 degrees out there.
My Ryobi big fan was working overtime out there lol. I do have a few small ones too I should bring along. I wasn't expecting it to feel that hot but I was roasting lol

Hey I just want some input from you, I’m a crocheter and want to get into making shirts out of sublimation, what is the best paper to use or buy from a company. I’ve heard a lot of different opinions on a bunch of different brands so am a little lost. Also if you have any recommendations for the wholesale shirts pls share lol

It's hard doing a market by yourself and keeping hydrated, I know I can hold a 1.25 bottle of liquid comfortably till noon 😂 the things we have to do
Lol I try my best to take in as little liquid as possible during events if I'm by myself for sure. I usually try to go right before it starts and if I don't get the chance I feel like the whole time I'm stressing on focusing of trying not to have to use the restroom even if I don't need to lol why do we do this to ourselves lol

Do you find it more beneficial to take the top off your tent every time?
I actually leave the top of my tent on when I pack up my tent! This was the first time using the Quictent so it was straight out of the box so I needed to put the top on this time. Usually I have my tent top on when I pack it this was just an atypical experience :)

Hey! Thank you so much I appreciate you being here!! My husband Ethan made the rack up front from plans he drew up! I have a video filmed of him making it but haven't found the time to edit it but I'm going to get that out as soon as possible!!
yeah, definitly I didn't do good at this market (about 200) and I'll chock it up to not being a good location nor matching crowd. I'll try again later in the year when its not as hot! Glad you did good after all that suffering of the heat and rude guy. My phone blacked out from over heating and really learned that i need more than just water, need electrolytes as I really had to recover for 2 days after.
I definitely think the side I have been on is really good, it seems like an entrance/exit point that most people choose to either start or end their walk through so I think that helps! I definitely think it really stinks how expensive the market is and I wish they would lower the cost. I obviously don't know where all the vendor fees go but it does seem like with the amount of vendors there they could maybe drop it just a little. I definitely agree the next time we do it we should pack more snacks and gatorade lol. I felt better the next day but that night my chest and back hurt badddd. I will say the internet was way better this time than last time so checking out was easier!

Wohoo! I love the new set up. Also did I mention how beautiful the shirt set up is?!? I love it so much and having it up front I think is great to draw customers in. Also shoutout to the vendor corner you do. It's so fun to see other small businesses and just think it is awesome you do it. May borrow the idea myself once I get a little more confident at markets as it's a winwin.

Congrats on a great sale ! So glad i found your channel gives me good info on the various matkets in the area. Im holding off on the markets for now due to the fact im doing special candles and wax melts etc and the weather has been way to hot to have them sitting out in the heat. Not a good time of yr for outdoor matkets. Im looking into a couple indoor ones to see how i do. Enjoy your channel alot!# thanks

I've got one indoor Whimsy market coming up. They had a few other ones that were indoors but I think they were during the week which is hard for me!

Hi Bailey! Move up to western NY for the summer months! 😂 We’re only 1 hr and 15 minutes from Niagara Falls and Canada! Lots to do up here and our summers are comfortable, average temp is around 80 degrees and our Fall months (Sept-Oct) are absolutely beautiful with the leaves color changes! 🍁🌿🍂🌻😎
My in-laws are in western NC and that sounds an awful lot like their area lol! We got married there in July of 2016 and it was a nice day in the low 70s so it was a little chilly even haha!
