Does the demo's license includes CSPM and CWPP, if so, what is only covered in CSPM license?

Hello and thank you for your comment.
So, the distinction is not between CSPM and CWPP, but rather, which CSPM plan you want.
The FOUNDATIONAL CSPM is always free, whist the Defender CSPM is the one you pay for.
As part of your 30 day trial, you get to try the Defender CSPM for free, for 30 days; they have to keep in mind thought that after the 30 days, they will get charged for whatever resources have been onboarded under that umbrella.

    Hi nice share,
Texting you this after not receiving any reply from Microsoft tech community.
I have this Azure recommendation "SQL databases should have vulnerability findings resolved" where I had one of the SQL Server in healthy resource but the databases inside are in not applicable databases i want to set it in healthy databases - what would be a solution for this and please note we are using the express configuration.
    Thankyou..!!

Hello , can you please tell me how can i add another subscription of azure in the other microsoft azure subscription in which I have enable microsoft defender for cloud?

Hello, thank you for your question. If you want to monitor devices from another subscription (or another environment such as AWS etc.) then there is nothing really to do. When you install the relevant agent on the device it will automatically be directed to the MDC environment and will appear in the list of devices.
If we haven't answered your question, please let us know, and provide more details and we will try to provide the answer you need.

      @@KochoTech Thankyou for replying.
But my query is not resolved yet.
Actually I have two different accounts in which one I have enabled Microsoft defender for cloud and another subscription which is in different account I have created one virtual machine that relevant agent I have installed in that virtual machine and it also shows connected but it was not shown in the inventory list. Then how can we monitor tha vm?

    • @KochoTech
      @KochoTech  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

Can you confirm that the VM is showing as connected within the agent and can you check that the configuration on the VM is set to the correct ID.
It could be that the VM is picking up a different configuration from the ID that is in use on that device or if there is an ARC/MDC configuration that is set in the subscription where the VM is sitting.

@@KochoTech can you please elaborate that how can i check the configuration on that vm is set to the correct id?

@@deeptisharma7007 go to the ARC console and then Azure --> Arc --> Machines --> Select Machine --> Overview --> Subscription ID
and that should match the MDC config.
