I appreciate their focus. Yeah, it disappointing to not have some things like full mod support, but I'd rather they stick the landing with delivering a solid experience and not waste effort and funds by overpromising.
You're doing good work with this Nonat. Very nice Q&A
The story working out because the way they have their companions created to me is far more important than being able to respect. I know people love respecting. I'm someone who actually enjoys when it comes to companions being able to just let them be who they are and work with inside the boundaries the developers created and then let me as my main character control what I want to do. Since I look at it as if I was on this adventure, I could control what I am. I could be a warrior and then decide to become a wizard. But I don't have that ability to control the thief. Hey, you need to become a wizard. He's just going to be like, yo, I want to leave your party, dude.
My guy. I love your videos, and you bring an amazing energy to the pathfinder 2E community. Could you give use a Sinclairs update?
I am just excited that such a passionate team is building such an important game to me personally. They are essentially building a platform as well, so excited to see what they build with it going forward.
I backed the game thanks to you talking about it, so thanks a lot for this amazing discovery ! And thanks to the developer team for finnally converting pf2e into a video game past lvl 5 ! And for info, I SO MUCH prefer a stable one player game, than a buggy two player game, I'm happy to hear that you all are focusing on the single player experience for your first game, putting things in the correct order (in my opinion).
The inability to make "mercenary" (custom) characters is a huge disappointment. He mentions that as an Icewind Dale thing, but it was actually a BG thing too -- you'd start a multiplayer game and create the party that way. Many people didn't even play with NPC companions for either game.
This dev ceo is such a kind soul. Amazing man that loves his work
+1 to build your whole party. Solasta did it well and is why I love that game so much.
Really hope the community can promote the game so it can be the best possible. Shame about some elements, but compromises have to be made especially when working with a budget. Still a solid basis for future additions.
Hoping they come around on some of the things; mercenaries and mod support, down the line
Oh, and Magus. Gotta have Magus.
Hope you can also do a shorter video to help promote the kickstarter
Magus, I want Magus.
Yes too permadeath. I ain't no casual! add the weight of the corpse too!
I hope you see this man because I need permission for something. I have created a subreddit for fans hoping to see this game come to fruition and follow it to launch and beyond. I would like to put it up in one of your channels as I would like to have a place to organise and get the word out in the short term and drive people towards the kickstarter.
i played Impossible Creatures :D
Any chance for a console release in the future
Is full VA going to be a possible stretch goal?
I speculate that no, maybe partial voiceovers like in outward
I feel like respeccing companions out of their established classes isn't necessary, and certainly isn't something I'd call "simple." It's a shame people keep asking the world from the folks at Ossian; I'll just be happy if the game gets made and works well.
Makes total sense that some ancestrys would only be into their own kind
This game looks terrible. It's like BG3 at home.
Pathfinder deserves better than a toy game.
So small companies should not have opportunity to prove themselves?
First I guess.
