this was so good and well taught. Especially the point that in the end you have to find you "own" second deal was spot on. 10/10
You probably dont remember, but I heavily criticized your technique a few years ago on both your previous tutorials. I must say that you've improve a lot, and you came back to put a better version of your past work. Well done. That's admirable
Thank you!
I know I needed to learn doing a second deal and only attempted it a bit in the past and found it tough. Your video makes it really simple and elegant and you do an incredible job of explaining it in detail and illustrating it. Thank you so much. I wish you all the best and I subscribed and I will check out The magicians club
Thank you!
Thank you for this excellent tutorial. Although I've been doing sleight-of-hand with cards for many years, the second deal is one move I have yet to master. I like your point about the extraction of the second card and the replacement of the cover card and how one should think about it -- i.e. not as two separate movements but almost like a single, two-stage movement. This bit of advice alone has made a big difference in my execution of the deal. Much appreciated.
Cavan, all of your stuff is masterful, but I've found your second deal instruction invaluable!
BTW, I love my Strikers.
Great to hear! Thank you!
Very nice sir. Great video. Merry Christmas from Scotland!
I could fool my audience with my second deal before watching this, but *AFTER FOLLOWING YOUR INSTRUCTIONS, RECORDING MYSELF AND RE-WATCHING* - My second deal fools me too. Thanks heaps
Very good. Another great video. Thanks man
And merry Christmas 🎄
Great improved video. I learned a lot from the last one! This one is great, thank you.
Thanksss
Easy or not, I have never been able and never will be to execute the second deal. How do you stop other cards from jogging out when you only grab the second card ?
The only answer is, practice. I used to find it always always happened and I got so sick of trying..but I kept trying and one day I realised it wasn't hardly happening like it used to. Now it rarely ever happens. This is a move that requires dedication and practise. Why do you uave such a dismissive and negative attitude towards it? If that is your attitude and, if you cannot do the practice required then please, just do this: Try doing it for an hour a day and I guarantee it will be a lot better in just two weeks!
Look at the second deal of KING OF GAMBLING he is a filipino
Hindi sir
I never understood the reason for a second deal, when a bottom deal makes so much more sense. I know so many more controls that control the card to the bottom than to the top. I mean its very easy to do, but other than that i don't see the point in spending the time practicing it
Well in a time when a lot of people know about double lifts it is a useful way to switch a card.
It also can be used as an alternative to a top change. ( my top change blows goats)
Mixing up the methods works best of all
