Hello Everyone :) Thanks for watching this video, which is part of our burn series!! Currently taking Enhanced concept/Med surge 2 and trust me when i say, i will be failing in this class were it not for you.. My instructor comes to class and she just refers us to you. Frankly i think its only fair you you get a apart of her paycheck. lol. Thank you sooooooo much. Love u. Hugs to the little man, Josiah.
That is a lazy instructor. She should teach what you ought to know and you as the student should use additional resources to re-enforce what you have learned.
To find gtts/min. Multiply 10,332 by 10 and Divide that value by 480 minutes(8 hours = 480 minutes) which gives you drops per minute or gtts/min. Same applies to the 16 hours. Just another thing we do in EMS, it's easier for getting your drip rate.
Yet another great video; excellent explanation of the Parkland Burn Formula. This formula seems just a little bit confusing to me though, because we must multiply by whole numbers, rather than a % (in your example it is 63 and not 0.63). It doesn't matter though, you explained it well enough for all of us to understand. Thank you again (so much!) and please keep making videos, you are fantastic!
Thanks you so much I am not able to understand this formula from my doctor so I decided to open you TH-cam and see the video if present I understood video about nine rules and I take quize I get A degree You are merical teacher
Hi Sarah. Your videos are so helpful and I want to thank you for sharing them. Our class always resorts to your videos as the "go to" for learning. Could you do some videos on the Parkland Burn formula when the burn victim has suffered the burns (for example) at 0700 and then reaches the hospital at 1000. Thank you. :)
It's worth mentioning to your audience, that depending on the order, like how long the LR solution will be given, nurses should not waste solution by hanging a big bag of 1.5 L on a second or third day.
Hello Sarah, could you please make a video about multidisciplinary conference questions. Because there was a lot of questions about that in my NCLEX exam. Thanks
