    Thank you very much! It helped me explain to my husband how to navigate the airport because he’s traveling alone for the first time. 😊😊

      I’m really glad to hear that, that’s exactly why I made it! I don’t get a lot of comments so having one as nice as that made my day 😆 I hope your husband has a safe flight ✈️

    You saved me making a significant mistake! I'm flying Kansai in a couple of months with Peach as it happens.... I am flying out with JAL I hadn't even checked but its from the other airport!

    Thanks for the walk through. We are going to arrive in Kansai International on March 13, 2025. We're headed to USJ for son's high school graduation trip. I'm a bit nervous about navigation the trains. I'm thinking about taking the bus because it looks much simpler. What do you think?

      You’re welcome, thanks for the comment! I checked, there is a direct bus to USJ, so maybe that’s the best way, search for the Airport Limousine. If you go by train you have to change twice: once to the JR loop line (regardless of whether you come from KIX by Nankai or JR), and once again at Nishi-Kujo. If I were you, I’d take the bus if I was nervous! Good luck 😉

    Thank you so much! This video is very helpful for first timers. We are staying at the sheraton Miyako Hotel in Osaka. Whats the best way to get there from the kix airport?

      I’m glad it was helpful, thanks for the comment! I had a look, it seems that the cheapest (and simplest) would be to take the JR train to Tennoji station, and transfer to the Osaka Metro Tanimachi line (it’s the purple line).
      It’s only a few stops to Tanimachi 9-chome station, and it’s a 500m walk from there. Total ¥1270. Just be careful on the Tanimachi line as there are very similar station names! Make sure it’s the one with 9-chome!

    What is the cost of the train to Osaka ( last stop: Namba) from the airport? Could I purchase the Welcome Suica card at the terminal?

    • @davidinosaka4069
      @davidinosaka4069  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you’re going to Namba, I recommend using Nankai instead of JR, it costs ¥970 (or ¥1470 for the limited express). JR Namba isn’t in a convenient location, and it’s not directly accessible from KIX, but you can change at Tennoji if you really want to use JR.
      As for Welcome Suica - they’ve really limited the numbers sold because of a chip shortage, I couldn’t find any info on JR West’s site, only JR East (Tokyo area). If you don’t mind losing the 500 yen deposit (or you don’t mind trying to get it back at the end of your trip from station staff), you should just be able to buy them from the ticket machines. I have an ICOCA card which is basically the same, I just got that from the ticket machine (also 500 yen deposit). I hope that helps!

      @@davidinosaka4069 I looked at Google maps to find Nankai train. Which train do I take at the KIX so I can transfer to Nankai? I do not see a connection. Thanks!

    • @davidinosaka4069
      @davidinosaka4069  ปีที่แล้ว

      Nankai is the name of the train company! When you go to the main train plaza there are two sets of ticket gates, you need the right side one. The station is the same place (Google calls it Kansai-Airport Station), you might want to search Nankai Namba Station instead of just Namba Station - just Namba is the JR station and they are quite far apart. If you choose Nankai Namba Station as the destination it should get the hint and choose the Nankai line - the Nankai Kuko Line is the direct one. If it says something like Kansaikuko Line, it’s still trying to get you to use JR and switch to Nankai later.
      I guess that’s another option, if you take JR you can change trains to Nankai at Shin-Imamiya Station, but changing trains is a hassle with big bags! I hope that helps!

    Why laughing 😂 arent you convince thats the longest terminal in the world?.

    • @davidinosaka4069

      Haha sorry I wasn’t trying to be rude! I just thought it’s a strange record - is it special if a terminal is long but narrow? If it’s the biggest in the world, I can see why it’s special, but long?
      Maybe I think it’s weird because my home town has/had Europe’s longest shopping mall. It’s definitely not the biggest, but just … long. I felt that’s not a convenient shape for shopping!
