I have 5 or 6 Chic Sparrow. I love their leather. Quality. I’ve ordered my first Plotter and it’s on its way. I’m looking forward to trying it. I bought inserts for it but I couldn’t find the ring protectors on the Plotter US
Unfortunately not, but I do all my layouts in InDesign. There's a grid generator that I use here to make the grid portion - incompetech.com/graphpaper/lite/ and then I lay the text and lines over top of that grid in InDesign. If you're doing dated pages and binding it yourself, InDesign has a print option that will print your pages in the correct order for a bound book with signatures. It's too complicated for your average TH-cam viewer so not worth making a tutorial (also it would be really long!) but for someone who is tech-adventurous it's not too terrible to figure out on your own. :)
I have a blue A5 I was using it as a portable spin off of my Filofax bujo. But now I’m not at work in person so I don’t need to separate my bujo personal and work so I might turn my plotter into a sketchbook…
I’ve never been in a ring planner because my only experience with rings is in binders at school. The pages would tear if I left the paper in the binder while writing on it. Doesn’t thing happen in these ringed planners like plotter?
I don't have this problem at all but I suppose it depends on how hard you are on your binder. It does have six rings instead of three though, so I'm assuming the additional stability prevents the paper from shifting so much and putting stress on the holes. If you want to try it but don't want to buy an expensive binder until you're sure you will like it you can get clear plastic ones SUPER cheap on Amazon. I don't like them because you have to force them to lay flat, but just for the purposes of trying it out they're a great option.
I hate Designphil. I have been teetering on the edge of buying a regular sized Travelers, I adore Midori notebooks and suddenly they have yet another product line with different sizes and I don't know what choices are going to be ... right. I think I'll have a bit of a cry. Anyways, thank you for the video, very informative, but I kinda wish I was ignorant of this since they look lovely.
HA, an awful but lovely problem to have! If you have any questions about recommendations I'd be happy to help, I have the mini6 and the bible-size and I use them for different things.
Really good video content. Thank you.
Thank you so much.

Yeah they can be hard to find, they'll restock eventually. You can also try amazon Japan. I hope you enjoy your Plotter!
This looks like such a nice planner. 💖
For $200 it better be good
Nice work! Do you have a tutorial on how you designed your layouts in the grib book? Its awesome btw!

They make some excellent papers for that 😊

Which model is that plotter?
Mini (6 rings) in brown Pueblo leather
Where did you get the drafting table top?
It's just a cutting mat from a craft store, nothing special.
@SarahBaileyArts Even better thanks!
Hace you used it? Do you still have it?
Yep!
V nice
