I'm curious, do you order the parts you need for an upgrade project off Brick Link and such to keep previous projects around on display? Or do you take some previous projects apart in order to upgrade the next set? I'd like to know. P.S. I get that the new building system with the sccbs parts are made directly for younger kids but....this NEEDS knees no matter what. AND WHY NO NECK FOR A FREAKING T REX!?
knees make sets harder for kids to play with, allegedly since they want to just plonk them down on a table and have it stand, no fiddling required I consider this to be dum and think that kids are smarter than that but I'm not the Lego Group
@@samurexatlas7373 stability issues... uh, as somebody who grew up with the OG Bionicle series, that is not cause by knees, but instead by weight balance. if anything, knees help fixt the issue by allowing you to bend the legs to a supportive pose... i think they are trying to cut costs
How would you feel about making LEGO mocks of Megazords, you could probably fit in proper articulation that the official toys lack, since most of them are more of a brick than most LEGO builds.
Just a bit curious but how much of the original kit do you actually use for the upgrade or do you try to use all of it? Do you have a personal rule of thumb regarding how many new pieces you add to the upgrade? I'd love to know the answer! :)

Eyes (especially eyes) and body shape make it too real. The main thing i liked about Lego version is that it looks like a dino made from car/metal parts. Your version looks like real dino with pipes coming out
The color choices and distribution along the set look pretty inferior compared to whats possible. Let alone comparing it to the end product of the Modifikation being presented in this Video

It’s a fricking Tyrannosaurus! The legs and the head/neck are the most important parts. I totally agree.

The initial design philosophy was top tier, I imagine the concept art or renderings were smashing. Final execution though...
Lego REALLY needs to make a 1x1 cone drill piece. The transition between those three pieces at 6:05 is kind of jarring as is.
