Can someone enlighten me. I understand that Adam has one of the best butterfly guards ever, so it could be why, but why did he not fight to stay up when being put down for a sweep/throw. Like he didn't really fight it at all. Is it because of the confidence that with 5 minutes left he has the inner confidence to sweep in to a better position like he did at the end?
I would suspect that Liberati was concussed after being taken down directly onto his face. He lost a lot of steam after that slam and his forehead was red and swollen.
you're referring to 2:42? yeah, it looked unpleasant and i believe it did affect him. (although he doesn't seem to be more swollen than before - swelling doesn't appear instantly anyway)
