I never heard of this film, I'm surprised it was not shown on 1970s TV, thanks for posting it. Reading about the film, William Castle, the endless promoter, gave out Zotz plastic coins. They had to stop when kids thought they could fly with Castle making a PSA warning kids not to jump off of rooftops, lol. The coins are worth money now on ebay.

l saw it as a kid on tv in the 70's in Trinidad and Tobago, enjoyed it
So many of Hollywoods best character actors, including Jim Baccus.
It's spelled Backus, but I think he was trying to become Bacchus in that scene with the Vodka!
Never heard of this film. If we had seen it as children we would have played it in the neighborhood. Loved seeing Margaret Dumont
Now I’m all in! Love her.
I saw this in the theater as a kid. They were giving away "Zotz" coins and everyone in school had one. It was a popular movie.............(sigh)
What a delightful memory
This film, the candy (Zotz Fizz Powder candy 1970) ... great combo with some popcorn on a Sat. night!
I 1st saw this at age 8 loved it. Thanx
Awesome! I haven't seen this since the original theatrical release!
There's another movie that is equally as quirky as Zotz titled The Twonky starring Hans Conried
I enjoy the oldies the sillier the better
OMG, The Twonky was quirky alright!
Just avoid "Zapped!" with Scott Baio at all costs!
Jim Backus ( Professor Killgore) was the voice of the cartoon character Mr Magoo. Cecil Kellaway ( Dean Updike) looks like Mr Magoo. Uncanny!
So this is what the candy Zots came from? Logo looks the same. They were from the seventies I think. This is great!
Tom Poston really did have super powers. He dated Suzanne Pleshette in the early 60s and then married her later in life.
I caught this film late one night in grad school. As a student of propaganda, it is a facinating bit of red scare gibberish.
Great film right up there with Twonkey. Castle hits a homer
Tom Poston, the caretaker George on the "Newhart" show.
It's George from "Newhart "!😂😢😅
It's the guy from the Steve Allen Show. That why there's the joke in the waiting room with Louis Nye, the other guy from the Steve Allen Show...
Riding while Reading!!
Wow! Forgot all about this movie.
Amazing 🤩
FUNNY that they quote from ....
1:02:08 Did anybody else try playing this at double speed?
TH-cam AI likes to show me films related to something realworld. The discovery of an Archaeological site?
Pass the monosodium glutamate! Argh!
I still have my original Zotz coin.
Don't you dare point at me!
@ I’ll just slow you up-Zotz!
@@gskaleski Doooon't... Yoouuuu... Daaaaarrre... Pooooiinnnntt... Aaaaaaaattt... Meeeeeeeeee...
This movie should be Zotz. It's horrible.
I keep fast forwarding it in hopes of it getting better.
I don't mean to sound critical, but this film is absolute rubbish!!
More critically, you sound mean.
