Round the uncertainty to one, perhaps two significant digits, and then use this to round off the value. The number of decimal places in the uncertainty must be the same as the number of decimal places in the value.
Hi I really like your comprehensive videos. It helped me review my higher topics in Physics 'cos I haven't been teaching for like 12 years in higher level. I got stuck teaching Grade 9 & 10 IGCSE. Can you please give me the link on subscribing Tier 2 cos I think whenever I clicked @t I went to different button. And any suggestion for mode of payment I am from the Philippines.
I do not think the TH-cam memberships are available in the Phillippines, but I believe you can become a Patreon. All the videos are available there, and you can use the google sheet for all the Patreon links. www.patreon.com/cdoner
you are the reason to why i might have a chance in passing IB physics
I just started the IB and your lessons help a lottt! Thank you!
Great to hear!
At 13:30, why would you round 0.246 to 0.3? Shouldn't it be rounded to 0.2 seeing as the number following it is 4 (which warrants rounding downwards)?
My mistake, the conclusion is the same in terms of using two sig. figs.
@@donerphysics It's alright, thanks for the quick reply!
Do you have a propagating uncertainties video? Thanks!

Yes, thank you.
Ur smart
How do we know whether we have to round off the uncertainty to the measured value or the measured value to the uncertainty?
Round the uncertainty to one, perhaps two significant digits, and then use this to round off the value. The number of decimal places in the uncertainty must be the same as the number of decimal places in the value.
What software and hardwares are you using to record your videos?
Camtasia and a pen tablet.
@@donerphysics Thank you.
