    Hi glad seeing you're trying on gfx 50r, I couldn’t work it out when adapting vintage lens on this camera - it wouldnt let me fire the shutter? But as soon as i switch back to its original lens its fine. Is there any setting on this camera i should be mindful about when adapting vintage lens please?

    This is a shot in the dark considering the age of this video, but do these lenses vignette with IBIS activated on the newer GFX cameras?

      I actually experience less vignetting with the 50SII compared to the 50R

    Zeiss 35mm f2 Distagon is better on D850 or on gfx 50R?
    After this video I suppose the 58 1.4 Voigt is better on the gfx?
    I am not 100% sure, but on a first sight I do not like the colours of Fujifilm, even the gfx. Similar to the Sony "magic". Leica seems to be the best, then some Nikons (I have the D700 - generally happiest camper, but I am looking for better micro contrast/ tonality camera wise. Plus some resolution more for some of the images)...

    For me, Pentax 645 75mm f/2.8 and 150mm f/3.5. Amazing how affordable, small and capable they are. The only native GF lens I own is the 50mm

    Here are my favorite full-frame prime lenses:
    14mm f/2.8 Nikkor auto focus
    21mm f/1.4 Summilux (M-mount)
    28mm f/2 Zeiss Distagon (Nikon F-mount)
    35mm f/1.4 Zeiss Distagon (M-mount)
    50mm f/1.4 Takumar 8-element (M42-mount)
    55mm f/3.5 Nikkor macro
    85mm f/1.4 Nikkor auto focus
    105mm f/2.8 Nikkor macro
    135mm f/2 Zeiss Sonnar (Nikon F-mount)
    180mm f/2.8 Nikkor
    How well do you think these adapted lenses will work on a Fuji GFX 50R?

    Sorry for that unprofessional Question. This Video is from 2018. So, I am interested in the most fast lens for GFX 50s, that is Working very well. So first Question, a original Fuji 110mm F2.0 is in practice the same fast than a Voigtlander 58mm 1.4? Or is a Mitakon 'Speedmaster' 35mm or 50mm f/0.95 the Choice for GFX. Or the Voigtlander 40mm f1.2? I watched so much Videos, but in Fact of the Timeline I can´t make a needful decision. Or is there another option? For me it seems that my 110mm f2.0 is not that fast that it could be. I want to shoot in Low-Light situations. Thank you very much!

  • @curtisp471
    @curtisp471 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I have read that the GFX has a 9 mm sensor filter stack thickness. Therefore I don't think you'll get very good results with most adapted lenses that are even somewhat wide angle.

  • @cryptmaster09

    • @Jimbojam
      @Jimbojam 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      its easy to calculate. photo quality prints typically are 300 dpi. divide the image size by 300 and it will tell you how big of a photo quality print will be. Mine yields image size of 8256 x 6192. so that would be 27 x 20. if you went down to 200 dpi, for viewing at a distance, let's say, on a wall, then you could get a 41 x 31. at 150 dpi you could get a 55 x 41. so the bigger you make it, the further the viewing distance would be, the less dpi you need. I see that you waited 3 years for this answer. I hope you are smiling now.
