The meaning this song is way deeper.
No one had give the proper information. I am surprised to see it. The first song is about a movement happened just before the end of English Rule in Indian subcontinent. From the both bengal farmers were united against the unlawful shares of their corps. Communist party led the movement. Mr. Salil Chowdhury had written the song. The second song was about the bengali language movement on 1952, written by prominent bengali music artist Abdul Latif.
