- The sensors connected to the microcontroller board are LM35, PIR and LDR sensor. LM35 is used to sense the temperature level in the house while LDR sensor is to sense the light intensity. ... The data sensed by the sensors are then used as feedback for automatic control of home appliances. The Main thing about these project is the the whole project is only works when Somebody is present infront of PIR sensor Otherwise is turend OFF at all time.

Things that you need
• Arduino
• PIR
• LDR
• LM35
• Dc power source (Any 12v)
• Relay Board of 2 channel

For the software part, I program it using arduino IDE v1.01.

In the connection for LDR there seems to a mistake, the pin with GND - should be connected to analog input

yes check the connection of the LDR sensor , you might have made mistake while connecting it!!

You can try, if the value didn't match you need to calibrate the values to original one . In DHT 11 library the calculations are done already

Noo .. Its totally different from Automation and Smart Home heating automation. in the Automation we use multiple sensors for sensing but at heating system we need very accurate and praises Temp sensor only.

Why we need temperature sensor?
There is a temp sensor to sense the surrounding temp in the home if there occurs any fire accident in the home it sence this over temp and turns on the exhausting system.
