Another fantastic video Nicola. Very informative. My video of Axbridge was completely different to yours. I only briefly showed the buildings whereas looking at your video I should of shown more of the amazing old houses. Axbridge is one of our favourite places as well. It's near to Cross where our favourite pub "The White Hart" is. 😊😊
@@MartinPopeFilmmaker I will check out yours too - I love seeing different versions and glad when they’re not the same. Just watched your Weston one and it was great - again ours were completely different as I didn’t hear to the woods or Sandbay in mine. So glad to have found your channel!
I put the cream first. Apparently the Devon way is the cream first but the cornish way like to do the jam first. Axbridge is a very charming place to visit went there several years ago, makes me want to visit again after watching the great video. Like the gimble walk 😊
@@jennycreative1 thanks, Axbridge is a real hidden gem - you might like Wells too which I recently made a video about. I have a lot more coming up exploring the southwest and further afield 😊 Glad you love visiting. Where did you go first time round?
I don't know about the jam or cream first conundrum, but there used to be the same debate on whether milk or tea should be put in the cup first 😂. The answer was milk first originally as the early china cups may crack with the hot water. Now tea first, is considered the norm 😅. I went to Axbridge many years ago and it is a lovely place.
wow, Me and richard must visit their, it looks like a lovely place to go. I love your hat and dress. I love those floppy hats, I have a few of them myself nicola xxx
A BEAUTIFUL LITTLE TOWN, BUT LONG TIME LAST SEEN, BUT THE MAIN STRUCTURE WILL NOT HAVE CHANGED, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE IT'S HAD A WELL DESERVED WASH , AND FRESH LICK OF PAINT. ONE OTHER POINT, IF YOU WEREN'T JUST FORTUNATE TO CHOOSE A PEFECT SUNNY DAY, I'M SO GLAD YOU GOT LUCKY. IT REALLY DOES MATTER.
Let's settle the great debate: cream or jam first on a cream tea?
jam
whatever the person i'm enjoying a scone with chooses, i choose the opposite ;)
@@stephanleece9549 haha, brilliant :)
Jam always.
PERSONALLY, JUST LIKE A JAM SANDWICH, IT'S LOGICAL TO BUTTER / CREAM FIRST.
That was so interesting and beautifully filmed.
@@user-lu8hl3bg4x thanks for watching and all your support on my channel - really appreciate it. Glad you enjoyed it.

Cream first for me! 🤩
@@jennycreative1 I just had one today in Weston-super-Mare, cream first. Only just switched over after trying both making this video 😅
@@NicolaExplores Nice! We love UK! We were there end of May into June! Already making plans for next summer! It's been crazy hot in SoCal!

yes, very beautiful! You could argue that the tea conundrum is an even more British debate... but I guess it's more or less settled now :)

That’s what I do now after filming for this video. I was brought up jam first
