Joxanx Garcia Ive played abit of the Japanese version after 1 hour of gameplay I had to pre order it for both. I stopped playing the Japanese version tho I didn't want to get too far without knowing what was going on. Its an awesome game from what I have played, it reminds me of the digimon games on the Nintendo DS which I also loved.
If your game on PS4 is not in full screen: You must adjust the options of the PS4. I do not know how it is in English, so try something like: Settings -> Sound & Display -> Settings display area (?) Maximizes the display area. Also change the TV setting "image size" in "fit to screen". Then restart the game. (Sorry about my English)
I appreciate that namco didn't give up on digimon after it fell off the radar when adventure 02 was done. Western fans lets show digimon some love and put it back on the map.

Got my copy on the vita. This is the year for monster collectors. Haven't played a Digimon game in years. Now I can enjoy this on the go. I don't care if it's digital only, I'm playing this on the system it was INTENDED for.
FYI, the sound director for this game is Masafumi Takada, a person who's made tons of great game soundtracks, including some super smash bros. tracks and the entire Danganronpa soundtrack. Easily one of my most anticipated aspects about this game.

I understand perfectly since the early 2000's of digimon were butchered in terms of localization. The dubbing on the other hand had some really interesting choices for characters. I played the imported Vita version back in March 2015. Needless to say I absolutely loved it and I am buying it again this time on PS4. The Western release gets to enjoy new content including: Cherubimon - Virus (AKA Kerpymon) and Beelzemon Blast mode, cross save, difficulty level options, new game +, worldwide multiplayer battles, and updated graphics/textures. Live it up fellow Digimon fans! This game is awesome and for those of you who haven't played, you're in for a treat! :D Hopefully Digimon gets plenty of support from old fans and even gets a lot of new ones as well thanks to Tri and this game! The developer already said that support for this game will determine whether Next Order gets localized as well as future Digimon titles!
Nix that's probably for the better. Pokemon hasn't changed much and as a result some people have moved on from it. I bought omega ruby at launch and still havent touched it. Still a good game, but not for veterans of the series.
