They have always had Great father/son, brother/brother, friend/friend chemistry. The writers could have written them in either of these scenario and it would have worked wonderfully. I can see why they are good friends in real life.
Great video!!!! If you ever watch Maurice Bernard's "STATE of MIND" with Dominque who plays Dante, you see, how close they are in real life!!!! Apparently when they were trying to find someone to play Dante, as soon as Dominque walked in the room, and probably auditioned with a short scene. Maurice KNEW immediately they found the right person!!!!! Their chemistry is very authentic and comes off that way, b/c it's not anything they've had to make up. HOWEVER...Dominque describes their relationship more like Maurice Bernard is one of his closest friends and Maurice is more like an older brother to him. They have some similarities in their temperament. BOTH were sensitive guys growing up. BUT...Dominque doesn't have any mental illness and didn't know if he would have much to say, yet, he's very tender hearted and talking about his mother's passing made him get quite choked up. He jokingly gets mad at Maurice for making him cry, which they both do easily. Maurice also had one with both Dominque and actress who plays Olivia. It's ironic that his name is Dominque, b/c when he came to PC to take Sonny down, Dominque was his under cover name.
I have watched the State Of Mind episode with Dom in it!! It was a good one. I love how close they are in real life. They have such a great relationship on and off screen.

I had to laugh when Maurice says that Dominique is only 2 years younger than Lisa Locicero and plays Dante's mother. They pull it off however, I wouldn't have had any idea that they are only 2 years apart seeing as she plays that she was only 15 when she was pregnant with Dante!!!! LOL!!!
That was an episode back in 2009. 9/8/09 and 9/9/09. It was the GH carnival storyline. When Dante came on to the show, he was an undercover cop named Dominic Perelli, working for Sonny to take down the Corinthos organization. At the Carnival, Dante was supposed to be keeping an eye on the "kids"; Morgan, Molly, and teenagers Michael and Kristina. Edward Quartermaine is driving his vehicle, and ends up having a heart attack, and looses control of his car. The car plows through the crowd at the Carnival, and the car was going to hit Morgan, but Dante pushes Morgan out of the way, and gets hit himself.
